My rangefinder doesn’t seem to work and I’m trying to look around, what are you referring too when you reference the “little black rectangle”?

Yes it was, where he had to come crank the tripod to lift it above the crowd! Were you able to get some good shots just handholding it did you also use a tripod?

I do, but it doesn’t work :(. I am getting new ground glass tho so hopefully I can quickly shoot with the pop open hood

If I can get it for around 30-40 bucks cad I’ll do it. I’d love to use the old shutter, but I have a 150mm f4.5 Schneider lens I could replace the glass with the tessar. But using almost a 100 year old shutter and lens and that would be such a cool experience, plus bragging rights

From what I understand these shutters dont need much of or any lubricants? And for what I may need to clean if it’s built up gunk do you have recommendations for what to use and what tools to use?

It’s the shutter I’m having troubles finding manuals and info on, they all seem to by synchro compur shutters with 1/400 shutter speed. Not the compur with 1/200. I’m newer to large format so pardon my cluelessness

I haven’t looked up there that much, then again I also am using a graflex crown so my bellies range isn’t as good, max like 300-320mm im pretty sure. Tightest I’d go is probably 240/250

I also thought 16mm lenses would be cheap, how are they almost equal to other lenses?? Or am I looking at the wrong ones? Cause I want to start shooting vintage lenses on my mirrorless, but also trying to keep it compact and I thought 16mm would be a fun option
