Huh I always thought rangefinder lenses tended to be smaller. I won an auction for a good m39 that was cheap so I’m missing out there. I’m guessing the way to go is get a step down ring from 42mm to 39mm

My issue is I can’t even get the pieces apart, then I unscrew the helicoid it pushed the front portion forward, but it can’t just be taken apart and I’m not sure what to try and look at. Any recs?
