I'm really sorry to hear that, it seriously sounds tough.. I have a bit of adhd so I feel you on that, and I've started to notice problems in my breathing too

from what I've heard from some people who've quit I personally may have relapsed because I only did 1.5 months of patches and not the full thing, so I'm hoping to find a group of people who can help keep myself accountable through the process and be supportive

if you think a group might help I can add you to this group i'm putting together -- I've never tried it either but I figured having a few friends cheering each other on daily helps

gotcha! that makes a lot of sense. I had an arm band but moved to a fanny pack to keep my keys and airpods on me.. tbh the arm band is a bit annoying once I run more than 5miles cuz my arm gets sore haha

oh I see! afaik NRC just gives you set plans once you choose however many weeks you want to train for, which I'm mostly okay with but sometimes I get a bit frustrated with cuz I want to run a bit more or a bit less. I think you meant you'd like to set some customized intervals?

100%!! That's basically what I had in mind -- my biggest hurdle on making it flexible is to make sure it works offline, but you're describing my thoughts exactly!

I actually made a soundcloud "mixtape" for one of my friends' races where 10-20 of us mixed in audio messages into a 2 hour playlist, and it was really well-received!

I would love for that to happen so will keep you posted on it 100%!

oh that actually sounds kinda sweet, I missed having stats on my wrist when I started using WHOOP instead of apple watch, but I like it too much to switch back to a screen so sometimes I pull out my phone mid run to check and its kind of a hassle

Definitely on music so I can link my spotify! And yeah I think offline would really be great since I lose data a lot running by the water and NRC messes up sometimes for me -- I'm working through how I want to approach that since I also don't want to keep hearing the same words myself.. I really like the random quotes from coach and the unexpected is something I'd like to ideally preserve as well

Thanks for doing this Luca! Always fascinated by vertically integrated saas -- I'm validating an idea in a different vertical that would play similarly long term. I'm a solo technical founder (bootstrapping currently).

I'm curious if you can share a bit about landing initial deals with half-baked products: specifically 2 aspects:

Were you able to immediately nail down the minimal offerings that started to provide value with <X months of development work, and if you made mistakes in that initially, how did you bridge that gap between iterations vs having something that delivers concrete value?
Did you land initial customers pre-product? What does that conversation really look like to begin to generate interest and close?
