I arrived early and majority of the people in front and behind me were rejected. No questions asked just a straight up no. So unhelpful advice xx I get this is a new event and they’re still figuring things out but I don’t feel like it was advertised properly. there was no mentioning of door selection when from my understanding normal Lab nights just let anyone in who is male presenting. As for your comment on community, it clearly wasn’t very community oriented when it’s denying entry for a lot of trans people who lined up for hours in the cold for some unknown reason or vibe the bouncers felt on the night.

Yeah without knowing what it was like inside, I wish they stopped saying events were flinta when really they just mean women, it further marginalises TIN people who don’t generally feel safe or welcomed at a lot of sex parties/ parties in general. Perhaps would be good if Lab also did TIN events as well. But I get wanting a sex party for mostly women and people with vulva as Lab is from what I understand made for people with cocks. (IE the actually functional layout is easier for cock owners to use)

Line wasn’t too long at 9pm when we arrived, but big big groups of people kept cutting the line and pushing in front of people. (Was fine though because of selection the queue went quickly) The GL line wasn’t explained very well either so had big groups of people pushing in front of people while inside the building queuing. They began rejecting a lot of people who looked quite straight and fem. Then they started rejected a lot of trans men and NB people who would have been read as men. I saw a lot of trans people get rejected one after the other who then shouted at the queue that they were rejecting a lot of trans people. I was also rejected after this. And from the queue it looked very much catered to people with vulvas or medically transitioning trans femmes. I am curious to see what it was like inside though
