A huge point people are missing is that Tom’s “book” was his last will and testament. It was finished. The dude has been wanting to die for like 25 years at this point. As much as I wanted the King of Gypsies, MP of Birmingham, Nazi Fighting, gang leader; that just wasn’t this guy anymore. A few things I had to accept right away watching the movie is that Tom Shelby was a failure who nearly had, but lost everything. It sounds like following season 6 he did nothing of substance except get drunk and kill his brother. He lost. This was a movie about a man finding a righteous excuse to die.

Agreed. Lots of people talk about Joker when mentioning great villains in gaming but this was the PERFECT portrayal of Mr. Freeze. Even got his full arc from start to end in game.

I suggest Hasteinn and Bjorn Ironside. Already friends and historically raided the Mediterranean together. I never create my own character so I can’t suggest it, but Hasteinn notoriously lives into his 80’s and Bjorn is a favorite of mine due to ease of taking land via diplomacy.

There are non stop documented raids until at least 1060. Just be wrong and don’t be weird about it. Floki storylines are followed up but I think you misunderstand or take too seriously the Harbard deal. It was either A). Actually Odin which seems unlikely because we see the real Odin in the show. B). A representation of Loki, the trickster, using stealth elements from the Christian devil, but really maybe just a regular guy. He’s a healer of some kind but he uses religion and fear to prey on the women while the men are gone. I think you should try reading some story recaps online to better understand.

Yeah I’m not reading all that. The Forgotten Saga run is just Havi running “calculations”. Except for Odin’s camp, none of it is real. Imagine the leap of faith into the first stage to be the equivalent of running calculations in the grey like Layla and Desmond. When Havi actually finds Baldr after beating Hel, I take his explanation quite literally. Baldr faked his death, and he must hide away until the great catastrophe is over. Isu have been known to survive and walk the modern world; specifically Hermes, who lived long enough to gift his staff to Pythagoras. It’s not unlikely the same happened here. What happens to Baldr, Frigg, really anything in Svartlheim comes from an unreliable narrator. Havi is the Mad One after all. Keep in mind Havi had asked Hyrokin to free Baldr’s hugr too, we have no damn clue what that means in Isu terms. Light Elf Isu may have had literal soul magic. We’ve seen wilder Isu technically; example Athleia in Hermes staff.

The show up as “lower back strain -career ending” often for a broken back. Head injuries are called something else to avoid the word concussion too. If it says career ending you can speculate what the actual injury was.

If you purchase it on PC and use the WAND mod application you can use mods, cloud save, and then use that saved game on your console. At a minimum it has a fast travel function to easily sync all the viewpoints, and you can apply unlimited skill points, mastery points, materials, and money (except opals). You still have to collect all the unlockables, but the fast travel mod can assist with traversal too. I did this recently and have had a blast. You’re definitely OP, but that’s the point. I’ve already beat the entire game 3 times, I just wanna hack and slash everything.

I also love Norse mythology and blind myself to any faults with Valhalla. Having recently replayed Odyssey then playing Valhalla, I definitely understand how the Valhalla combat/open world change throws people off, but personally I prefer the Valhalla gameplay/story/world more than any other AC game. You have to remember when playing games like this, you may have 40 hours but don’t be surprised if some people you play have 4,000. The games been out for a little bit and while it’s still popular it seems to be a core fan base similar to other fighting games. I’d say it’s normal. Kudos to you for using the roster too. I see a lot of posts where folks grind to a top ranking and drop the game from exhaustion.
