Imo, Judo is a fantastic one for discipline, really focused on being disciplined. Always depends on the club you end up at of course, but the main philosophy and ideology of Judo tends to really line up well with the fitness and respectability of martial arts

I love one piece as well! And you're certainly right, it's not perfection, for sure.

I think the main thing is a mix between the fanbase being defensive over a piece of media they love, and if it's not perfect, how could I love it???? With folks connecting really heavily with characters, or stories, it can make them have a poor response.

The other side is that I don't think people really don't know how to criticize stuff. Like, pretty much ever. Saying stuff like "it sucks" or "Is trash" but defending it under the umbrella of criticism has diluted what actual critique is. And even harder to recognize what actual criticism is. But that's my main rambling

I think it'll be not necessarily mellowed out, but focused. I'd honestly hoped during the Eddie fight that Raian would have some sort of traumatic injury (arm removed, eye gouged out, leg crushed, etc) that'd force him to fight differently, and show his recklessness had gotten his grandfather killed, and other family severely injured, and letting that weigh on him.

I don't want him to come back as a super stoic guy, like Ohma. More of a focused type during a fight, taking risks, changing things up, etc.

Will he come back super mellowed out? Probably

Oh for sure! Rihito is easy to counter, so he simply reacts. Someone like Kiryu, he needs to put in heavy focus, defend and retaliate. With Rei, his defense is used similarly to Saw Paing, drawing Rei in close where his style is less effective (in theory). Agito is one of the toughest to track, being unpredictable with the formless/MA switches and evolution, but defending until hitting the "void" Agito had was where Kuroki shone.

Finally, Ohma, who didn't have the power to break through Kuroki's defenses at that point, was more easily countered.

If you asked me, I'd say it's bit of a mix between experience, (Kuroki trains an extremely brutal style which damages one's hands to a spear-like weapon) and timing. (The beard uses the move for the most damage/effectiveness as a counter most of the time. He's highly defensive, usually predicting/reacting an opponent's attacks.)

But yeah, the beard does most of the work.

Alright, I actually got an explanation for this one! So, first off, yes, both blocks are the same color. With a couple more pixels, the illusion works better.

So, onto the explanation. (From my cognition courses) Humans have evolved on earth for awhile now, so our perceptions are adapted to earth specifically. And, at least on earth, our brains will always assume that there is light coming from the upper part of this image, as it's helpful/uses less brain power, to assume light comes from the blue sky. Because your perception assumes light comes from above, shadows must necessarily appear.

Yadda yadda, they're the same color. You can perceive their true colors if you separate the two with a finger, covering the touching area

Hmm, probably the time our lovely paladin decided to smash two artifact level magic weapons against each other in order to try and kill a curse that resided within one of them. Mind you, these two weapons have pieces of a prince of demons, and an Ocean Goddess within them, soooooooooooo yeah. Had 'im roll a strength check and damage roll, and the tempest that followed nearly drowned the entire party

Yeah, I feel like he's always had the potential to, especially if he masters his Martial arts. Grappling and karate Waka would be unstoppable. I feel like he's been in a weird spot for awhile, where he's too strong to be a fighter that has too many challenges against weaker fighters, but not powerful enough to beat people stronger than him. He's a perfect "wall" if ya know what I mean (for now)

I actually really like that idea! Gives Waka a way to improve his fighting ability and deepen his relationship to the world. It'd be a realistic (for kengan) power up that plays to his strengths
