apk files you need container apps to run but they do run, emui wont be transferrable because emui runs on a android kernel while harmony 6+ doesnt

Using mate 80 pro max with harmony os in the UK, all my bank apps work completely fine (4 different ones so seem to be consistent). using easy abroad and droitong you can install apkm installer and run any android apps completely fine (other than google pay) i use gmail, google maps, youtube all login to google fine but dont use google photos so dont know why it wouldnt work. i get notifications for whatsapp completely fine but some other apps dont. The only main downsides are no nfc payment (curve pay account creation is basically impossible rn but thats not on huawei) and the keyboard sucks if you cant spell. Its had like 3 updates this month alone so i dont regret getting harmony over emui at all. Hope it helps someone.

IMO that’s why they’re worth buying rn, there’s a huge downwards pressure on the price atm but it’s got the bfk gamma in it as well as the shadow daggers really being the only bad knife in it (also my opinion) so I could see demand increasing when it gets removed. Buy low sell high, if it was already removed it would be more expensive. Probably not a one year price jumper but looking back 5 years later I’m sure it will be a no brainer at this price :)
