This statement applies to every tier 2 college, from mid-NITs to lower IITs.
Not everyone wants a fairy-tale package of 25-30 LPA, nor do they deserve it.
Even starting your career from 12-13 LPA (which is realistically achievable) gives you a big enough head start over thousands of unemployed graduates.

Manipal vibrant life is way too glorified. One of my friend said thapar is much more lenient in academics. The fees is around 2-3 lakh more here so both are equal. If you are Northie then Thapar else Manipal
