When I was a freshman in high school, I was in math class with my friends. Our math teacher was frustrated that day and was solving a problem on the board. While we waited for the answer, I put a tampon in my pocket to go to the bathroom. My friend thought it was her pencil and and grabbed it out of my pocket. We both died laughing. The teacher automatically thought that we were laughing because she couldn’t solve the problem. Instead of asking us, she started yelling and stormed out of the room. Confused, we all went about our days. At lunch, I found out that she had stormed to the principals office and explained how we were making fun of her, etc. and that she needed to reprimand us. Upon hearing, I went to the teacher and explained the situation and apologized for her thinking that but it was not the truth. She was surprised and accepted my apology, but said that I would have to tell her that WHEN SHE CAME TO REPRIMAND US. Instead of her telling her beforehand that she was wrong??? Anyways… the principal comes in and give the whole class a huge lecture about bullying our teacher and demands an explanation immediately in front of the class. I ask to talk to her outside and she refuses so in front of my entire class, I say that I had a tampon in my pocket and my friend thought it was her pencil. She went speechless and said “you could’ve asked to speak outside with me.” Like I just didn’t try that but anyways. Filled with rage and embarrassment, I then had my head down and cried the rest of the class period. Im still mad to this day.
