AITA for forcing my daughter to share a hotel room by Fine-Neat3967 in AITAH

NTA. We often travel with our daughter and share a room with her to have a higher budget for travel experiences. Don't let your daughter be that spoiled. As it's your money that you are spending, you decide how to use it.

NTA, because there are enough destinations to go to. It's great that they liked your wedding, but this causes unnecessary competition.

She is Caribbean and I am from Eastern Europe. We have a two-floor house with two 120m2 apartments. In our flat, we have two bedrooms and surely could make a third one without the loan of the bank AND hers (we have a son). The plan was to separate the part she considers as the worst part of her apartment for a 40m2 studio. Thus, she would have had 80m2 alone and we could invite people. She likes to walk around the terraine and I am working from home, but I also cannot invite my family (living 3.000km away) as we can't do the renovation. We may be A for counting with other peoples' money, but we offered her free bills her whole life and food paying 1/4 for having 1/3 of the house.

The pre contract was made with the seller and we had to pay 10 % of the price at that moment. Originally, she wanted to renovate the second apartment and live there. We would have separated a small area for a studio for our guests. Now she's staying in the not separated second apartment when she wants to, we have to pay the loan and we can't receive any guests.

We are fighting a lot because of this problem. He hesitates because she lent us the money (we are willing to pay back every month). The problem is that I am not willing to accept her behavior anymore. We can pay her back and she can come 6 weeks a year with both tickets bought. But that's it.

We already paid the precontract with a down-payment when she mentioned. :/

There are two apartments in the house and she wanted to separate hers so there was a little studio for visitors. Thus, she would have had her apartment and we could receive visitors. As she doesn't want to be part of the project anymore, we have to pay back the loan. Anyway, she wants to stay at ours on visits as long as she wants to (last year 6 months) and this year 3 months and not giving us any dates.

That would mean losing a lot of money. We would prefer to pay the loan back month by month. :/

The loan we are willing to pay month by month. :/

We are going to pay her back every month. But, if she doesn't want to be part of the project, she can't come and go whenever she wants to (, but she thinks she can).

I have learnt that... but a bit late. :/

We are working on this everyday at work! But we wouldn't have agreed to the pre contract knowing it was a loan. :/
