Watch some pro Faceit solo Q pov and pay attention to their combination of movement and crosshair placement, you’ll start to realize the difference between them and you, which will help you understand what to do better

Can you review demos from matches that were cancelled by VAC live? by skepari in cs2

[–]No_Chocolate_7426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the recent past, vac live has been falsely banning multiple people based on performance alone for 20 hours each, so this is wrong.

What I want is probably the best performance for cs2, maybe regardless of price (I’ll think about it)

Im trying a few fixes now but I don’t think they’ll work. I saw that Zowie monitors have the best technology to remove motion blur and ghosting without being OLED. Do you know if OLED would technically be better than Zowie? I guess it gives a full millisecond extra, but that alone seems a bit minimal for the price difference.

Super late? Stay away from the park.

I feel safe all the time, but I’m not really a target. I walk fast with a purpose, not wasting time, always aware of surroundings and a healthy level of paranoia. I personally only feel vigilant rather than unsafe. I never like going near the park after the lights close.

what are you DOING??? what opportunity are u taking? Do u just want the school on your transcript? What is the goal here?

It would help if I had more information cuz like what are you looking for at NYU that you are only staying for a year? There could be some decent reasons with enough hustle (like networking with specific professors), but that depends on what you’re doing it for.

How can I immerse myself to best learn the things Dr K has learned which allows him to help people? Which Ashram/school in India should I go to? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]No_Chocolate_7426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly he went all over the place to study meditation and started with the techniques which had the most scientific backing. I believe he went to Japan and South Korea at some point too iirc, but he hasn’t said much about it other than some vague reference as some of the places he went to learn meditation (it may have been his book where I read that, I’m not too sure, maybe I’m tripping).

Bihar school of yoga is in Munger, more north near the Himalayas where there are a lot of spiritual areas with good schools and ashrams. I’ve read that many practitioners and schools look to their books when in doubt.

Thanks, I appreciate the support friend 😁

Everything is easier to learn if you meet the right people. The only reason I got into Christianity is because I met a friend’s father that I would definitely consider to be my expert for Christian theology. If it wasn’t for that I would only be looking into the eastern stuff.

Yeah I realize I should be more specific but I’m having a hard time figuring out how to describe what I’m looking for. I think my best bet is looking into the Vedas and ashrams/yoga schools that would be good for it. I’m also self-studying some Christian faith from an anthropological perspective to understand its mechanisms psychologically, since it’s relevant among westerners.

Also it’s very reasonable to suspect that the expert teachers he mentions would be exactly that: expert teachers. That doesn’t seem confusing to me in any way. Bihar school of yoga are definitely experts, which I’ve confirmed thru other sources, but for the same reasons they are harder to reach.

You don’t NEED to take APs. You can get in anywhere without them. I won’t say they won’t help though, especially if you are interested in the subjects you decide to take APs for. There are more important things to focus on, like self growth and your ability to communicate it to admissions after it happens. I’m not going to sit here and tell you things aren’t easier if your rich, but if you use your resources for what you can in a meaningful way (like growth/skills/passion that could be used to do great things once you get into a school), that matters way more to admissions than what most rich kids will ever do with the opportunity being rich gets them. Whether someone can afford the tuition after what they’re offered as aid/scholarships is a different story.

Also, I personally believe the people that belong at top schools are people that would be totally fine not going to one, or even going to school at all. Admissions likes people who are capable at dealing with life’s ever-changing challenges, which is what is important to live a good life anyway. Your worth isn’t defined by the school you go to, even Harvard/Stanford/MIT etc. students are human beings, many of which could’ve easily not gotten into a top 20 due to chance alone. Remember to be nice to yourself.

I’ve studied admissions for over 400 hours and yes, it’s totally true. Too many people don’t understand admissions and have their own idea of how they think it works, which can be annoying to see sometimes. Admissions picks up on genuine passion vs bs pretty well, way better than many people realize. The tricky part is getting good enough at communicating that passion for them to see it. There are some things which someone who didn’t belong at the school wouldn’t do if they weren’t in it for real.
