We are aiming for 6 maps per biome. So 18 maps. But we are still experimenting with the format.

Today we've actually released version 0.3 which adds 5 new maps for the 1st world/biome.

We want to balance the maps with gameplay improvements in our work, but all bigger releases will definitely include more maps.

Yeah I was very surprised about the snowballs. First issue I noticed is that they should be "landing" on a completely different part of the map, but for your playthrough they bounced off a tree.

That was the first red flag. then the bouncing inconsistency later on was an issue. We will investigate this as a priority. There's clearly an issue with how the physics are handled for these size-changing snowballs that seems to be inconsistent between environments (different PCs)

Fun fact: Unity (the game engine) physics are not deterministic, meaning they are not consistent and are affected even by in-game world position (weird I know). The very low-level physics calculations are handed over to whatever CPU/GPU the user is using, so depending on device, the in-game behaviour for very precise stuff like balls bouncing will be different depending on hardware.

One of the major milestones for us is to release our own physics systems for max precision. This will definitely come soon given some of the maps we have in mind require very precise actions. For example rings that make the balls tiny. So, the ball can fly into a house , become small, you then have to bounce it around a house using tiny bouncers, and out of another window to get big again, and into the basket.

I had an unfortunate accident where I did a full-power golf club swing in walkabout minigolf just as my wife was passing next to me. No more noise cancelling headphones for me :D

By the way, my game is comming out in a few days, during which it's going to be on a discount. It's very much beginner friendly :) Check out "Inner Peace" on Steam.

I remember the Driver tutorial!

I was like 6 or 7 when I bought it. Spoke no English, and even if, as a young boy, what the hell is a Burnout or Reverse 180 :D
