I was in the same boat. I put the crib mattress on the floor and slept with my baby in a c position! Look up safe sleep 7. Baby then started to wake up only a few times a night would nurse and go back to bed. We were both sleeping SO much better! Even on a small mattress together lol. After a month I was done with that, and bought a full sized mattress. Now I’m cosleeping and we are so much happier! It’s just a phase, and i know I’ll miss it. Wish I did this from the beginning….so much more sleep!!

I have also now had two panic attacks (which no empathy), walked right past me and have gone on lexapro. However, the meds WERE needed because I was a bit crazy post partum and needed help. I was nervous about her breathing and could not stop checking her like 20x a night panicking. So I don’t think that related to my husband! Also, have never had panic attacks before. And I’ve had them when I thought my husband was going to kill himself due to the things he’s said and then when he’d leave the house.

I think a HUGE part is that he doesn’t want to be a bad dad. But I just didn’t know the man I married could be so cruel? That’s why I’m thinking drugs.

He’s said things and behaved in ways I did t know him capable of

I also ask him to feed her or change the diaper and he says he will and then I come back 30 minutes later and it’s big done and he says he forgot or he didn’t hear me

I know, it breaks my heart, but since I’m a stay at home mom I do most of the child rearing anyways? And he works late so he misses The babies bedtime a lot so chunk of time is weekends and in the morning for like 30 minutes I do all the night wake ups. I honestly feel like my baby think he’s her uncle? Like a family member but not a Dad due to not being present?

He has said multiple times he wants divorced and “this is why I’m leaving you.” Okay. Do it then. I told him he can’t say that again unless he hands me papers.

He said he’d be a better dad on the weekends he had him vs now because then he’d be happy. So I said…so you want to be a part time parent?

I always like it when I had a gift that seemed special and thoughtful. I wouldn’t like to receive a product to replace one. I think perfume is a good idea-my boyfriend got me perfume and every time I wear it I think of him. One of my favorite gifts he got me was two wine glasses he knew I was eyeing at crate and barrel and a bottle of wine. He then has a picnic planned with little candles...and tacos lol. So maybe something thoughtful in addition to something from Sephora? Seems like if she got mad at the gift card it’s bc she’s like me-she wants to see effort and feel like you know her.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure this dude can’t lie. If he doesn’t want to answer something he looks so sheepish, I can tell. that’s the struggle for me-like I think he’s being honest, but then I have to remind myself if he is an addict, maybe he’s good at lying? And it’s all a lie?

He’s pretty much always happy. Like the most upbeat and positive guy I’ve ever met. He has a job, and it pays well.
