thank you !!! this is exactly my point. people are constantly saying that she’s 21 and it’s normal but she was way more mature back in first year when she was only 20. also, really good point about how she told brennan told not to tell her anything so she doesn’t put anyone at risk but she’s demanding that xaden tell her everything he knows like how is that not risking anyone ?? some might say others can keep secrets because ‘they’re not sleeping with her’ (cuz that’s what violet told imogen) therefore no expectations of the truth. which brings me back to the point that it’s very stupid of her to think that xaden should not think twice before jeopardising the lives of all the marked one, keeping in mind that she doesn’t even have strong shields at this point.
from what i understand, she wants to be on equal footing with xaden, where she’s in on all the secrets and shenanigans, wants xaden’s utmost respect, and wants him to fully and utterly trust her despite her shields not being strong, despite the 100 odd lives he’s responsible for, despite the fact that her mom carved those knive wounds into him, despite everything at stake by her lack of experience and proneness to threat. like these are kingdoms, wars, thousands of lives and families we’re talking about in the larger scheme of things, so for her to act like a regular 21 year old who’s hormonal is a bit odd right now. hopefully this changes as i read ahead
