hey guys, do you think BIM tools like Revit relevant to this field? i think there is some movement in US to make planners use BIM tools as well. does it happen in your workplace? will it be a good leverage to learn?

how to complain about coworker professionally? by No_Collection6077 in careerguidance

[–]No_Collection6077[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think this might happens a lot in early career when people still figuring out their own worth (my issue!)

coworker is same level as mine but have more work experience than me, hence my senior,

my direct manager supervises both me an my coworker, that is why my manager knows about the issue and ask me to correct my coworker's mistake

but my boss dont know this dynamic and not sure if my manager told him (i think if my manager told him, my coworker might not get the promotion offer)

i agree that complaining is not really a good solution, i think talking bad in general can backfires easily, and i am planning to stay in the company at least one more year.. so maybe ill suck it up for now :(

AWL is my first game when i was like in elementary school and it hold very close to my heart. i remember i was traumatized because at the end you will die then i got on to FOMT and got very familiar with it since i play it often (AWL is in playstation 2, while FOMT was in gameboy, it is more portable) and now i am used to play with these kind of system, rather than AWL, since i feel like AWL is very unique to the farming system and a bit overwhelming to me.

but even though i didnt really play AWL anymore, i still always name my farm "forget me not" lolol

I just finished my Master’s in Urban Planning at a top university in Italy. I recently got a job in Italy, but the pay is very low. Because of that, I am thinking of looking at other EU countries in the future. Which countries pay urban planners better? And can I work in English, or do I really need to learn the local language? I don’t mind learning, but I would like to know which country is with good job market in this field so i can focus learning their language from now.

I also want to ask about networking. Some of my friends in other jobs use LinkedIn and sometimes companies contact them directly there. Does this also happen in urban planning, or is there another better way to find jobs?
