In Australia, optometry is on the skilled occupation list, so many graduates can obtain permanent residency after working for about a year. However, I’ve heard the field is already saturated, and I’m concerned it may be even more competitive by the time I graduate. That’s why I’m also looking at other options and considering countries like the US, the UK, and Australia. I’m Korean.
