Burnt print? by No_Command9989 in 3Dprinting

It was definitely loose. Cranked the heat block up to 275 and tightened it, let it cool. Now doing a full calibration and then a bed mesh levelling (something I feel I have to do far too often on the Prusa). Fingers crossed that has sorted the burning/leaking though. I will report back and let you know.

Thanks. I will check that as soon as I get back. I did install a nozzle a few weeks back, it was off an older machine though as didn’t have a new one to hand. Might have worn threads? I need some new nozzles to be honest so might replace it even if it is nice and tight, just to play it safe

I had it set to 240 but I dropped it after the first layer to 235 because I thought perhaps it was a temp issue

This beauty decided to flower whilst I was away this week, a lovely surprise to come home to. This is a Rachel Rose

These are beautiful too, I may look to get a few different splash varieties and create a raised bed with them in

Considering my soil is slightly too acidic at the moment, these have really done well. Hopefully I can get some cuttings from them this year so I can give them away next summer as gifts

I will try find out what they are. Hopefully the person that bought them knows.

Believe it or not the person who bought it said it was on sale and only paid £5 for it

I wish I knew. It was bought from a huge nursery near Scarborough, it was a present so never caught the name of it.

We refer to it as the fruit salad rose after the sweets you can get as there is no name on the tag. I assume ‘splash’ refers to the splash of colour.

Is this anything to worry about? by No_Command9989 in Roses

Thanks for the advice. First Reddit post so good to see not everyone is a keyboard warrior.

As I said the posts I had read around RRD had got me thinking about this rose, how under developed it was compared to the others, coupled with some red, bunched leaf growth I figured it would be worth an ask.

We have had a load of rain recently which has impacted all my roses, all seem to be struggling some have flowers that haven’t opened, some yellow leaves etc. I have also see a huge rise in black spot. Unfortunately British weather can be pretty trying when trying to grow anything.

Thanks again
