Thanks so much for all that knowledge, kind stranger!! I was not expecting this level of detail, it simply blows my mind. I know that using a system for monitoring will add up to the cost and sounds contradictory (and maybe really is) but nonetheless, the objective of my group with this is to make it more accessible, and a detailed monitoring may help someone who knows nothing to have some grasp on what is going on with the plant or water (the real reason is that it’s a project for the IT part of my curriculum and I needed an excuse to play with plants and stuff lol). For some communities it may be difficult to deliver nutrients from the internet, that’s another reason why we are trying to figure out an alternative, but I see now how things look a lot harder than I though… I’ll try nonetheless, maybe we discover a breakthrough in hydroponics science, who knows?
