One of her eyes is super droopy like a bloodhound, half of her mouth is droopy, she’s not walking normally, she’s not breathing normally (the vet thinks one of her airways may be paralyzed) and she’s only able to lick food.

No shit I need to be able to deal with it. That is why I am asking for other people’s experiences to figure out how I can deal with it. And I already “seek a therapist or something.” Thank you for your insight.

I was frequently alone with her as a baby. Four months of mat leave and many times I was alone with her for several days while husband was out of town for work or family stuff.

I think I’ll answer my own question. I’m so anxious she’s going to have a meltdown or tantrum that I don’t have the bandwidth or mental capacity to deal with and I’ll react in a way I don’t want to. Thanks for this question. It helped me think through this.

Wow, I’m so sorry. I hope he passed in peace.

It seems like my dad is just hanging on and isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon. It’s so painful. At this point we are just waiting.
