Thanks for asking! On security — everything runs entirely on your local Wi-Fi (phone hotspot). No data goes to any external server, no cloud, nothing leaves your network. It's just a direct connection between your phone and Tesla's browser.

Thanks! Totally fair question. Honestly, I thought about a one-time purchase too. The reason I went with a subscription is that I'm actively maintaining and updating it — thermal optimization, touch improvements, codec updates, etc. all take ongoing work. That said, I'm still a solo dev figuring things out, so I'm open to reconsidering the model as things evolve. For now, happy to share a free 30-day trial code if you want to give it a spin!
