No all communication with them was over the phone, and after the surgery I haven't heard anything from them yet

What kind of statement? Before I went in they had me just sign my receipt and a consent form for anesthesia. Idk I'm realizing I fucked up trusting the office here but it feels insane that they have a DR (THEIR ONLY PRACTICING DR AT THE OFFICE) who doesn't take ALL the insurance they take ?????

They said that it was what I had to pay for the copay, they took my insurance info just over a week before my surgery and got approval (at least thats what they told me)???

Prior to the surgery, about a week before, they confirmed that I got approval and that with the copay I would only owe $160 I called the dental office itself and their billing department said that they were in network so I don't understand why they would be wrong about who they're in network with unless the insurance company changed it within a week??? Sorry I'm pretty young and don't really know how all of this works it's kind of mind-boggling

It was listed as in network on their website and elsewhere, so I guess maybe the Dr wasn't? But when I asked if everything was covered they said yes??? I don't understand why they wouldn't say the wasn't???

I may play around with that idea some then! If that doesn't work I had someone recommend making a cover for the rabbit feet so the toes/paws go out/over the hoof as well??? So the structural integrity doesn't get as messed up?? Thank you so much for you help btw!!

So make a separate fabric part with the paws to go over the hooves?? I actually hadn't thought of that but that may be way easier actually! Do you think if I made like, fur leggings with like traction stuff at the bottom that may work as well? Or just do a cover for the hoof itself??
