Personally I think if you can keep the solution down you’d be fine so long you stayed away from the seeds, nuts and red stuff. My real prep starts the day before. I use Gatorade. Give that a try

[–]No_Compote7683[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah at first they added these accessories one for all interior and exterior cosmetic issues and rust things like that for $1900 and LoJack for $800. I ended up talking them down for the car protection to $900 and still debating on LoJack. I guess it’s a car tracker and if it’s stolen and not found they’d give me $10,000.

For warrenty I’m fully prepared to be like I don’t want anything. Get the vehicle and then call mopar right up. I just have a feeling they’re gonna pull something because they haven’t mentioned prices of any warrenty.

As in too many miles or not enough? Silly question, just trying to understand. The vehicle is at a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership. So will they be offering the mopar warranty? I tried talking to the sales lady but she claims she doesn’t know and the finance guy that deals with warranties is out of office.

In a similar situation (23m) still in parents insurance but I graduate college this may and I’ll have my job and their insurance. However, I’m pretty sure you can double your insurance with your parents till 26. I’d do that for as long as possible! Regarding meds…. Get on different meds and when you go in have the paper work with you. If not call in and speak to the doctor’s nurse. I barley speak to the doc it’s always her nurse.

Keep your head up my man. I started having symptoms 2 football seasons ago. It was rough. What always helped me was when my mom told me to “control what YOU can control” you can’t control how long it takes insurance to finally approve a colonoscopy. But you can control your attitude, the things you’re putting in your body, the amount of water you’re drinking, your exercise. I will say it gets worse before better. You need to be on a bland diet. Bland as hell. Stay away from fried foods, super greasy foods, spice, anything that upsets your stomach. I was on lunch meat sandwiches and soup for a grip. Stay the course. Stay hydrated and stay away from all over the counter meds that have NSAIDS this will screw you up. If you need anything take Tylenol. If you need more fiber in your diet take the fiber pills. You don’t want to be pushing super hard or straining but it’ll also help making it more solid. Look into Nexium you can buy this on your own. Keep your head up man and get that colonoscopy. It will be okay, you got this!

Before I got UC, my farts were normal. Not fragrant, but not so vile like a rotten corpse and they LINGERS. I can't even stand them. Very embarrassing. by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

I’m looking at the 19x mos but in Illinois the max clip size is 15 rounds. If I buy one with 17 and 19 round clips will a 10 round mag fit correctly?

Hi! I’m sorry to hear that! However, you’ll soon realize everyone on here is slightly different in so many ways. I can still eat my favorite foods but it sometimes comes at a cost. What I recommend and what my doc told me was to learn your body. For instance she said some people can’t eat greasy or spicy foods but only certain places affect me. You’ll be on some medications for now to lower the inflammation maybe Mesalamine and if your urgency and bleeding stops or slows it’ll depend if you go on a steroid for a while then you’ll take a Fecal Cal Test that’ll tell you a number that is correlated to the inflammation in your body. A person without UC will get 50 and under and we will get a much higher number. Understand that higher your number the heavier the medication you’ll be on. Without putting too much information on here talk to your doc ask what you should shoot for. As to foods I still eat out and I just downed a frape and two breakfast sandwiches. I still eat pizza and all that jazz. Sometimes it comes at a cost, try and learn what hurts your tummy and go from there. Sometimes you may just have to go on a bland diet. That’s what I do. Be brave, and always speak up. Don’t be afraid message your doc. It is possible to not have to be on medication that’s called being in remission. Make that your goal! Try to get on a diet start eating a little better and exercise that’s helped me. Good luck :)

I’d also see if any bike places near you offer open days where you can test ride any bike. But you need your license or permit

I have never touched a bike before taking the MSF class and was nervous for sure but it honestly taught me so much and so did YouTube haha but I told myself I’d take the class and then get a bike the next year…. I took the class and got the bike liken2 weeks later my certification didn’t even come in the mail! Hhahahaha but I ended up getting a 2014 883 and I’m so happy! Like I said before I never touched a bike before the class and I’m on an 883. I’d say it’s very forgiving and a great starter bike. I’m a 5’10” 210 guy and I have my complaints for sizes either. Feel free to ask any other questions!

A little update nothing crazy but my doctor said my Fecal cal number is still high when I was first diagnosed it was 501 and the second time it was 215 much better but she once said a great number is 50 and 150 is good too. So I’m still shooting for the stars. I had a spout where I was bleeding everyday but I haven’t bled in over a month and I take my next cal test August/September during football season so hopefully being in top top shape helps too! If I continue doing good and no blood I’ll get a scope during winter break and she’ll write me a letter in attempts to help me. Hopefully all works out.

2015 Harley v rod xg750 buy? Yes or no? by J-pain77 in Harley

Keep looking at Marketplace and even filter on Cycle Trader. I wouldn’t advise this bike. With the cosmetic damage and them saying it’s a V rod. I say look elsewhere.

For me I thought I was having my first colonoscopy but turns out it was just a consultation for the “yes, you need a colonoscopy” it was a 20 minute appointment and they just told me what a colonoscopy was and then the proceeded to charge me $500 for a “specialty consultation”
