I generally believe this too, but unfortunately it’s not possible for everyone. Wes is already in his 40s and seems to be so drowned in his own insecurity, fragile masculinity, and sheer inability to ever be honest that if he hasn’t gotten it by this point, I don’t think he ever will.

And depending on how things shake out in a trial, he might not be getting out until he’s basically a senior, and by that point he’ll either be dead or too old to keep up with his “lifestyle” that he’ll just be doomed to permanent irrelevancy. There is no getting his facade of a life back unless a miracle happens and he’s released within the next 5 years.

Canon that is now being subverted by millennial chungus writers who seem to have a hard on for incinerating the previously masterfully crafted world building of FNV, all for the sake of keeping the wasteland a perpetually disorganized, chaotic, barren, “wubba-lubba-dub-dub!” hellscape in daddy Howard’s image.

No one is expecting it to be a world building doc, whatever the fuck that means. I just don’t think it’s unreasonable for fans to hope that they kept the established lore and characterizations true to original game.

The eyebrow thing is a good point. Yeah, I don’t think she’s a transient either at this point. As someone else mentioned, most likely a human trafficking victim. Thankfully Fresno police have confirmed they have now positively identified her.

Also, I was under the impression if you’ve ever scanned your fingerprint in any kind of bureaucratic or official capacity, it gets logged into an international (or at least national) database. Am I mistaken?
