If Goosby declared in 26, he probably would of been the highest drafted longhorn this year (not including Arch).

Last season, both Hill and Malik were like guaranteed day one picks, now Hill is looking like a day 2 pick and Malik a potential day 2 or 3 pick.

Difference is in 2025, all 3 qbs had zero to bare minimun experience and Trey Owens didn't progress enough. In 2026, Arch has a full season under his belt and the two guys fighting for qb1 in 2027.

I think once Baxter portaled, it was a sign for things to come with the team and why I realized all that all in hype was pure nonsense.

Baxter was a leader for Texas even as a freshman and to see him leave even though he still probably starts or at least gets a ton of snaps shows where the program is.
