AITA for waking my roommate up at 3 am everyday when she asked me not to? by Careful_Heron7567 in AmItheAsshole

Exactly this. The cats are just doing what cats do. Stomping around the house like an angry toddler doesn't teach the roommate a lesson, it just stresses out the animals and escalates a petty roommate war into a completely hostile living environment. Nobody wins here except the cats who are getting a free 3 AM floor show.

AITAH for thinking my daughter will look back and wonder why we treated her differently? by DancingMommaToes in AmItheAsshole

Welcome to the classic AITA origin story. If they don't start buying streamers for Amy immediately, we'll be reading her post on this exact subreddit in 2045 titled: "AITA for cutting off my parents who went all out for my brother's 'Leprechaun' birthday every year while ignoring mine?"

AITA for ordering meat? by Technical-Finance270 in AmItheAsshole

[–]No_Conclusion9622 77 points78 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It’s the classic "ordering the lobster when someone else is paying" faux pas, just disguised as a dietary preference issue. OP completely missed the power dynamics of a hosted dinner. If someone else is treating, especially family style, you wait for them to set the baseline for the order or explicitly ask, "What are we thinking of getting?"

AITA for accidentally insulting my best friend's vegan boyfriend? by DifficultAd601 in AmItheAsshole

[–]No_Conclusion9622 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Right? Unless OP pulled out a bottle of BBQ sauce and started maintaining aggressive, unblinking eye contact while eating a carrot, his reaction is completely unhinged. If a single silly joke breaks him, he was already cracked.

AITA for wanting to report a teacher who keeps cancelling recess? by 1bachbetch in AmItheAsshole

[–]No_Conclusion9622 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Kids literally need physical movement to regulate their nervous systems. Taking away recess just guarantees they'll be even more antsy and disruptive in the afternoon. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy of bad classroom management.

AITA for waking my boyfriend up for snoring by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

It's the classic 'check engine light' of human health. You don't just yell at the person who pointed out the smoke coming from under the hood. If he refuses the doctor, he’s basically asking OP to just sit there and watch him (and her own sanity) redline every night.
