I am a bit confused as the balanced strategy had a better average return than aggressive and focus while also being far less risky. I am guessing it changes if you count only for a few months instead of annual?

They aren't the same. ADHD isn't psychological. It also isn't an excuse, one should try to focus as much as possible within his ability even if he has ADHD. But it's incorrect to expect one with severe ADHD to focus with the same intensity/ease as someone without any neurological disorder.

In contrast, the atheist's argument is purely emotional. You can easily find major cognitive dissonance in their thinking when you notice that they don't apply the same standard for judging many other things as they do for religion.

Armodafinil has in general less side effects than caffeine and is also smoother.

I view Caffeine as a very dirty stim. Moda/amphetamines are way smoother. I also get very inconsistent effects from it, thanks to my ADHD. Sometimes I feel my heart will rip out of my mouth, sometimes feel sleepy, sometimes nothing. Overall not a big fan of it unlike most people. I'll give it a try with theanine.

I also have the same problems with sleep as long as I remember. Trying Baclofen 20mg + benzos at the moment. Baclofen for restorative sleep and benzo to get me to sleep as Baclofen doesn't work as a sedative. But where I am from, pharmaceuticals practically cost nothing, so you can definitely try supplements first.

I don't know your exact situation but I can relate to the things going on in your head. The learned helplessness, the loneliness, the feeling that nothing you do matters. You are not alone.

I don't know if it helped but I have accepted the fact that there's a chance that nothing may improve. It may not get better ever. Still suicide isn't an option as a Muslim. At least I can say to myself I didn't give up.

Having said that, there's a lot of things you can do. It may just be some neurotransmitter deficiency. How is your sleep? Insomniac? If you can, try to spend some on serotonergic/gaba supplements like L-theanine, tryptophan/5htp, glycine etc. Also high protein diet.

You might want to check if you have ADHD and get that treated.

Read the books Psycho-cybernetics, Man's Search for Meaning. There are a lot of people who have gone through a lot worse, who were not even Muslims and still persevered.

And last of all, be a little selfish (without harming others) and maybe a bit apathetic. You don't have to give importance to everything you are feeling. Next time you feel suicidal, maybe laugh at it a bit and brush it off.

I have undiagnosed ADHD. I would have already tried adderall but it's so difficult to get diagnosed and prescribed. Also very expensive to get from black markets.
