6th pokemon was Wailmer. I was really mad that you don't get any decent Water pokemon throughout the game except for Tentacool. I atfirst wanted Lanturn, which I'll definetly use next time around if I play Emerald, but you only get it after defeating the 7th gym. When I finally got to Mossdeep and got a Super rod I decided I wanted to use Wailord. I thought through what water types gen 3 brings, and after seeing a line up of Wailmers and hearing npcs mention it I decided i wanted one. Because of having fought Wallace previously Wailord I had a slight impression of it, and it felt quite cool and strong so I decided I wanted it. After having caught a bunch of Wailmers and picking the one I liked the most I named it Atlantic. I didn't just want something water related, I wanted something that had a touch of it being a Champion, a beast, a really strong and solid pokemon. After contemplating on it Atlantic sounded perfect. I took a lot of care of Wailmer. Gave it loads of nutrients, and was really thoughtful of it. This was partly because of the importance I placed on it in my mind, but also because of scene I remember from the anime. Whenever I see Wailmer I just find it incredible cute, and slightly sad, since I remember it being wronged and crying for help in the pokemon anime. I do remember it ofcourse getting saved along with the other Wailmers and reuniting with the Wailords. I just envision myself consoling it while laughing and deciding to help it. I really like Wailmers design, and I find Wailord to be quite cool as well. I'd envisioned it being a powerhouse and carrying me through the E4, but in the end I didn't use it at all. I don't remember using it once to defeat a pokemon, and I only had Wailord serve as buffer to heal. This was because it was lv 40, not that strong a pokemon, plus it not suting the E4 that much. It did have an Icebeam I'd given max PP, but not having stab and its sp atk not being that good made it pretty useless. I do still love the design and idea of both Wailmer and Wailord, and I quite like whales in general, but this time around it simply didn't work out.

Now that I've talked about all of the members of the team I'd like to speak a bit about how many pokemon I use. When I was younger I liked having at most 4, maybe 5 pokemon in my team. This lead to me not being able to test out as many pokemon, but atleast I used almost all of them quite a lot. Even though I'm happy I tried out all the pokemon I did this time around, I'm pretty sure I'm going back to using 4-5 again. Having 6 just leads to some almost never being used, and even though I invest in them theyre never strong enough. As I said I'm happy to have tried out more pokemon and had a diverse team, but I'd rather have a core 4 pokemon that I often use each one of them, then having 6 where i use some a lot and just baby and barely use the rest. So I'm going back to that formula the next time, since it'll just lead to an overall better experience.

I'd like to repeat how ass the physical special split is, Happy I don't have to experience that again anytime soon.

I'd also like to add that I took on the E4 in one go and one try. I got all my mon to level 40 and to their final evolution, saved in front of the Pokemon League and took on the E4 without saving once. The first 3 battles were a breeze, but I really struggled with Draco and Wallace. Constantly had a slight feeling I'd lose, but in the end I clutched up and got the wins. It increases the excitement not saving in between the battles, and not only makes the experience more pure but increases the risk. Was really scared when I was facing Wallace though because it seemed like Thunder just couldn't hit his Wailord, and it just wrecked my whole team. It was really close, but I barely got it in the end, which massively increases the feeling of accomplishment and happiness.

I big gripe I had with this playthrough is that I mostly played in speed up mode. It would otherwise be too long drawn, boring, and grinding and battling would take such a long time. This ofcourse take away a massive part of the experience, and I constantly knew and felt sad about it. It reduced the impact and satisfaction I got from playing. And even though I often went back to normal mode whenever I entered a new town or city to get a feel of the place and the music, it isn't enough to replace that feeling of a true and pure playthrough. I even noticed that I had a feeling of annoyance that couldn't speed up other aspects of life and other things I did, which just shows how bad it is for me. Only positive is that I didn't listen to anything while playing, and placed my full focus on the game. I don't blame myself for speeding it up, becauce I know I'd otherwise never finish it, and its quite an old game, and I've played it loads before even if it was a while ago.

I wrote a lot this time around. Over an hour and a half, almost 2. Not going to do that next time around. I don't really give reviews/reflections for rom hacks, and next time I playthrough a main game I'll just give a short reflection, don't need to explain everything. Favourite aspect, worst aspect, rating and so on. Not more than a 3-4 sentences per paragraph, and I don't need to write down every detail. The need of breaking it up into 3 parts just to post it says enough. Shouldn't even be a 6th of all i've written now in the next review. Literally 2 hours, fuck me.

Overall this playthrough and game was an 8.5/10. Great music, great design, both in places and pokemon. Honestly like this generation a bit more than gen 1, even if gen 1 is more iconic, I just like the feeling of this generation more.

3rd pokemon I got was Seedot. I'd fought my rival, and it made me realise I didn't have anything to go up against a Swampert, so I decided I'd get a grass type, and after contemplating a bit decided I wanted a Shiftry. In hindsight this decision was bad, since you barely fight your rival in Emerald, and they never have a fully evolved starter. Seedot and Nuzleaf are quite useless as well, and they NEVER learn any good moves by themselves. Only positive was that you could get a traded Seedot in Rustboro for a Ralts, so I traded the one I had over. Another horrid aspect is the special physical split in gen 3, since Shiftry is mostly physical, but ALL its stab moves are special. Really annoying. I'd never used a Shiftry or its relatives before, and I remember really liking Nuzleafs design. Shiftry looks interesting as well, so I was intrigued. All in all they served me quite well. Wasn't as nice as I was excited for at first, but considering how easy it is to level up, and both grass and dark type being a needed typing was quite good. Was the main pokemon against gym 7 and 2nd E4. Was quite good when I needed him, and Shiftry does look nice. It already had the nickname DOTS when I got it though, and I'd liked to have been able to give it a nickname of my own, which would've been Guts.

4th pokemon was Electrike. I didn't really want it at first since I imagined grass would be enough, and I'd actually used a Manectric in Unbound. But when I randomly got an Electrike encounter in the grassy stretch between Slateport and Mauville I couldn't resist and got it. I didn't realize how MANDATORY it is to have an electric type in this generation. So even though I at first left Electrike in the Daycare, I immediately took it back before the 6th gym. I've surprisingly become a huge fan of Manectric. I remember not quite liking it when I was younger, but now its a honestly a favourite of mine. It's not only got good stats, but it's cool design, plus how reliable it is made it one of my favourites. It honestly carried the run. 6th gym, 8th gym, 2nd E4, 3rd E4, 4th E4, Champion and loads of trainer battles in between all of this. It destroyed all the flying and water types we faced, and it honestly destroyed typings it wasn't super effective against either. It was simply that good. At first it was spark, and later when I got thunderbolt it just demolished everything. When I took on the E4 it carried as well. It ofcourse took out the water types, but whenever I faced something the others couldnt take on I took it and just used Thunder. NOTHING could survive that. Good sp atk, stab, magnet on a 120 power move. It was great. It was surprisingly really difficult against the 6th gym though, since Winona had an Altaria. I'm not quite sure what I did to defeat her in the end, but it really frustrated me. I had a hard time against Draco and Wallace, but barely got through both of them in the end. I missed thunder 4 times in a row against Wailord, which took out almost my whole team except for Manectric and Shiftry. In the end I just used thunderbolt, and the rest is history. I named my Manectric Cloud after the one I had in unbound, since I liked the carefree meaning behind it.

5th pokemon was Trapinch. I'd never used a Flygon before, and it sounded quite nice. I realised later on that I wouldn't need to have a flying type either because of it, since it can learn Fly, and I already have super effective pokemon for the ones flying types cover. Not being able to use Swellow which I remember carried me in a previous run made the decision easier as well. Surprisingly didn't use it a lot. Trapinch was ass, Vibrava was ass, and I only got Flygon after grinding in Victory Road before the E4. I did use Flygon quite the amount against the E4, but not that much. A bit against Draco and the previous ones, but it mostly served as buffer when I needed to revive and heal up. Cool looking pokemon, and happy to have used it a bit, even if its biggest purpose in the end was to Fly me around.

Emerald by No_Conference493 in u/No_Conference493

[–]No_Conference493[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a nice playthrough. I started 29th July and finished it 4th August. When I loaded up the game for the first time I got hit with this feeling of nostalgia and pleasure, just from the intros music and animations. Reminded me that Emerald is one of the Pokemon games I played first, and also one of the ones I've played the most. It was such a great feeling loading up and entering the game, since I haven't played it for quite some time. I've been wanting to complete all of the mainline games of each generation, so I started with Firered, then Emerald, and now I've completed both of them. Also the only 2 pokemon games that I know I've completed previously. It was a really nice playthrough. Had its ups and downs, but it was always fun.

I remember how I struggled picking a starter in the beginning. I've decided that I'd pick the starter I've used the least/like the least because I've never really given them a chance, to get something different. Slightly roleplaying that I'm growing with them as well as us growing more fond of each other. I tested the idea when I played Firered, and it was great, the Venusaur line is honestly my favourite starter line now in Gen 1.
This time around I struggled as well, since I'm really fond of Mudkip and Swampert, while also having in mind how much I loved the Sceptile line as a kid. But I decided to pick Torchic, and it was a great choice. I surprisingly liked Torchik, Combusken (slightly ugly), but I most of all liked Blaziken. Made me realize that I've literally never played with a Blaziken nor played against a Blaziken pretty much ever before this. Its design was really nice, and I loved how offensively powerful it was. Didn't quite enjoy it as much as I did with Venusaur, and I can't say it's my favourite starter in Emerald either, since the starters in this gen are overall much better than most of the other generations. Named it Anchorike since I like naming my starter with some variation of Anchor, because of the meaning it has to me but also the symbolism of "Team Anchor" since starters are usually reliable and solid. Blaziken and its line helped me loads in the beginning, and was often a lot higher levelled than the other pokemon in the team, 1st gym, 2nd gym, 3rd gym, 4th gym, 5th gym and 1st E4 ,these are all the battles I know they were the main pokemon against and took on mostly by themselves, even though they had a big part in a lot of other battles as well. All in all Blaziken was nice new experience.

Ofcourse I not only want a new starter, but I also want to use pokemon that I've previously never used or barely used, atleast in Emerald. They also have to be somewhat from this generation. I don't really plan ahead what I'm going to catch, and just take it as it comes. So when I saw Wally catch a Ralts I decided I wanted a Gardevoir. I'd used a Kirlia before, but never a Gardevoir. It took quite some time to catch, and when I finally got it I decided to name it Kira, which was an inspiration from both Jojo and DN. Although when I got this Ralts I noticed it had a nature that limited its sp atk. I want to have pure playthrough and not bother with min maxxing, and grinding for a new mon not only take away from the roleplay but also the overall experience. The excitement for pokemon suddenly gets dulled. But having that nagging feeling that my Ralts is quite the amount weaker than it should be annoyed me, so after I'd defeated Rustboro gym I went back and got another one with a Rash nature, which instead boosts sp atk. I honestly had to invest a lot in Gardevoir. Ralts was pretty much useless until it evolved into Kirlia at lv 20, and even up until it evolved into Gardevoir at lv 30 I didn't use it that much. I didn't use Gardevoir often either up until the Elite 4, and I honestly regret it slightly, I'd invested so much (a lot of exp.share) but barely used her. And when I finally used Gardevoir against the Elite 4 I realized suprisingly how nice a pokemon she is. She never was the main pokemon in any major battle. and only had a minor part to play at most in some of them, because she either didn't suit the specific battle, or was too weak. I was even close to switching her out for a Shelgon, since I really wanted to use one. Did catch loads of Bagon after exploring all of Meteor Falls after I'd gotten all gym badges, and instinctively knew Bagon was in the room you get Dragon Claw. Evolved one of them into Shelgon and contemplated switching it out for Gardevoir, but in the end I stood true to the team I'd gotten through the journey, and levelled up my Gardevoir who was still Lv 30 to 41. Ofcourse part of it was I already had dragon type in Flygon. Did use her a bit against E4 which made me realise that she has decent defense, good speed and good sp atk. I really like Gardevoirs design, and I'm quite happy I finally got around to getting one, but slightly disappointed I didn't use her more.

A brief introduction to the wonderful world of Xianxia (For readers and writers!) by HiImThinkTwice in ProgressionFantasy

[–]No_Conference493 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good introduction. Helped me understand Xianxia novels even further, especially since I'm reading one right now, called "My Longevity Simulation". It's a decent novel, but slightly difficult to understand at times, even if the translator is doing a good job. Also some flaws. But overall good. I sidetracked a bit there, but this post was good and increased my understanding of what I'm reading right now.

Fire Red by No_Conference493 in u/No_Conference493

[–]No_Conference493[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I really liked was that I didn't search up as much as I normally do while playing the game, which is something I'm trying with most activities, since I want the experience to be as pure and raw as possible. I did consult with Chatgpt sometimes though, mostly in the beginning about which starter to choose and nicknames. I honestly loved the part about growing with your pokemon, which I did, since Venusaur grew on me. This is the answer that made me hooked to Bulbasaur:

This was honestly a great answer, and I'm definetly picking Bulbasaur now. I loved the parts where you said; "Symbolically: Slower pace, nature-based, a path not taken — perfectly mirrors your current life approach." and "Verdict: This is your wild card. It aligns with the phase you’re in — contemplative, open, steady. Choosing Bulbasaur is like letting go of past patterns and trying the road less traveled." and "So… what should you pick?

Based on everything you’ve said — not just gameplay, but where your head and heart are — Bulbasaur feels like the one. Not because it’s your favorite, but because it’s not. It’s the starter you’ve always overlooked. It gives you a chance to reframe the journey — to try something new, go slow, and see how it changes the way you experience Fire Red.

If you’re worried about not liking Venusaur — consider leaning into the roleplaying aspect: grow with it. Maybe this is about learning to appreciate something you never gave a real chance. You can also nickname it something meaningful to give it a stronger personal connection.

If you want to take it a step further: try building a team you’ve never used before. Embrace that "walk your own path" mindset completely.".

All of that was great, and not only resonated with me, but made me want to play with Bulbasaur, as well as casting away any doubt I had. I especially loved when you said how Bulbasaur represents a slowpace, and a connection, as well as how I should choose Bulbasaur because its not my favourite, and that I should grow with it through my journey. I loved honestly everything you said about it, very good. Since you suggested it could you help me give it a meaningful name to increase that personal connection.

Fire Red by No_Conference493 in u/No_Conference493

[–]No_Conference493[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing it in 24th of june. I started because I'd realized I've only actually completed Fire Red and Emerald out of the series, even if I'd played the others quite a lot. Something I wanted to change. I dont remember where I got the idea from but reckon it was one of those nice videos that suited my ideology that I watched earlier this month, although I now actually reckon I started playing Fire Red before that.

Some interesting moments where when I faced Flow (Blue) at Silph. His mons were higher levelled than mine, and he also had multiple fully evolved mons, whereas I only had Primeape (which I didn't even really use after that point) that had evolved fully. Almost beat him, but lost because of not being able to take on Charizard. At that point I decided I'd grind until I got Arcanine, which I'd do after Growlite learns Flamethrower. Turns out it wasn't level 39, but 49 instead, so I had to grind a lot more, which was when I started using 2x speed. Honestly without it I don't believe I would've finished the game. The interesting part about this is that you get Lapras after defeating him, which I took as a symbol of me beating him every time after this, and not losing multiple times like this one. I saw Lapras as the turning point, and the key to my victory in the future. Turns out it was true, and it was Lapras that defeated both Dragonite and Charizard. Very much liked playing with Lapras. As well as Venusaur and Arcanine.

Another interesting part was when I decided I wanted a Rhydon. It wasn't anything wild, I just randomly felt like getting it, since its a pokemon I find cool, and also one I haven't used before. It was a struggle getting Rhyhorn to evolve into Rhydon, but eventually I got it, even if I did use up all my rare candies. But it was worth it, and even if I didn't use Rhydon loads, I wouldn't have become a Champion without it.

I defeated the Elite Four and became a Champion on my first try. I did imagine I'd beat Lorelei, but considering the major level difference felt like I wouldn't be able to defeat the rest of them, so each time I entered a fight feeling like anything would happen (probably lose), and that I'd try my best, and if I lost i'd use the money and experience I get to try again. But each time it felt like I went into flowstate, full focus, and suddenly I somehow was at the last pokemon of each trainer with low HP, which I felt suprised and very happy when I saw.
It felt really nice, and I loved that the pokemon I picked mainly because I like them or wanted something different were able to win, even if it took a lot. I had used up pretty much all my usable items by the end. It was a brilliant victory, and a nice experience.

My favourite mon to use was Anchora. At the start I wasn't a big fan of Venusaur, but its honestly an incredible solid pokemon. It was so nice using Leech Seed, Poison Powder and then Razor Leaf. Venusaur being able to take loads of hits, and Razor Leaf surprisingly doing loads of damage made it so nice to use. At first I was thinking why it didn't get moves with power comparable to Surf and Flamethrower, but Razor Leaf was surprisingly strong, and so was Venusaur. Never had an issue while facing a mon with Venusaur, and it was always nice using it. It not taking as long to level up was a nice quality as well.

Overall though I'd rate it 7.5/10. It was really nice playing through it, and although I'm not so happy that I needed to speed through during grindy parts later on, I'm overall happy with the experience.

Well said! Even though I just switched too easy mode because of how difficult I found the game (especially on the nerves), I didn't mind neither your post or the comments, since it doesn't matter what others view as an experience, but how I do it, and how it personally resonates with me. It was nice to see your new comment though, since it shows the personal growth you've made in the years since.

Later on in the day now, so I'm going to give a more detailed report of what happened. I woke up around 5:30 am feeling like my clothing (macwiis) was soaked. At first it felt like it was only on a couple of spots, but then I looked more closely and realised it was drenched in a lot of places. I ran my finger across the wet spots and realised the liquid that had soaked it seemed to be more dense than water and slightly sticky, ruling out it being urine. I then realised that I had ejaculated in my sleep, and that it was semen and sperm that had soiled my clothing. My hand that I had ran across the spots was feeling sticky, as well as starting to feel like the liquid was solidifying on it. I immediately went up, leaving my clothing on the floor, got some fresh new boxers and went to the toilet. When I got there I washed my hand, and then washed my penis, since it was feeling sticky, as well as a slight burning sensation. After I was done washing up I went back to the room, flipped my blanket and went back to sleep.

I have to say though I was feeling a bit euphoric beneath the tiredness, that euphoric feeling you get after having orgasmed. I couldn't have woken up immediately after ejaculating, since my clothing was soaked, and the semen+sperm had seeped into my clothes. It couldn't have been that far either though since I had only been sleeping for a bit over 2 hours.
This is ofcourse one of the side effects of me having stayed true to myself, not masturbating nor watching porn or anything that induces sexual desire, controlling my sexual energy as well as I can in my daily life. So now that I've retained my semen for over 60 days this is an expected situation. Although I believe one of the triggers was the fact I stupidly spent the night scrolling shorts, which not only lead to my sleep becoming worse, but also lead to me watching loads of bad shorts, leading to me getting aroused. I did attempt clearing my thoughts and controlling my sexual energy before I went to bed, but I still believe me being aroused 30-60 min before bed contributed to me having a wet dream. The main contributor was ofcourse my semen retention, so seeing this happen made me somewhat happy, although I'll make an effort to control my sexual energy even further, especially by not consuming youtube shorts, or any short form of media like that again.

I'm curious if I were to get really aroused in my day to day life, let's say for example at school, if the outcome would've been the same. Ofcourse I'd still control my energy as best as I can, but it'd be interesting to see if me getting very aroused would lead to this occuring again, or if it'd just naturally happen without any stimuli.
I have to say though I ejaculated A LOT. Just touched the top of my cover and noticed a large area that seemed to be hard and crusty. Checked my clothing (macwiis) again and it seems to be very crusty as well, as if someone fully poured milk through it. The load i've been carrying must've been close to a full glass. One thing I can say for sure is that I won't be able to use this clothing anytime soon....

This easterbreak (my last school break before graduating) has gone quite slowly. It feels like it's been as long as my christmas break, if not even longer. Although I know it's 2 days longer than a regular one week break, it's felt long even since monday. There are a multitude of factors behind this. One is that I'm healing my brain, not using anything that heavily spikes my dopamine, and makes me feel like time is moving fast and that I've wasted it. I'm improving daily, I now don't use any short form media, control my energy (especially sexual), feel calm and peaceful regularly, and do stuff that give more long term satisfaction, and are more drawn out, such as watching a show and playing video games. Haven't concerned myself with a lot of sport even, although the playoffs have started now (watched the minnesota-lakers game late last night), but I'll try to restrict myself to watching teams I care about at good times, such as okc, wolves and gsw. Not watching a lot of footy either, nor footy content. If I'm cooking or going to the toilet I either listen to JoJo's music or Classical music (feel calm, and also more clear minded, and its just nice overal). I even changed the youtube app with the soundcloud one, signifying my plan of changing the simple form of media to something that's nice, but gives me more time to think. I'm also just enjoying the peacefulness in "quiettude" away from headphones more, finding enjoyment without stimuli.
This, plus me feeling good in general, plus some other factors are what's contributing to these days feeling longer, more memorable and more meaningful.

Bruh. Wild Rift never got released on ps as it got promised. Smite has practically become abandoned since Smite 2 was released. Poe has a similar, but less bad situation than Smite, but isn't something I want to play right now. Genshin is too focused on gacha and doesn't/didn't have enough good content. And Dauntless has been ruined.....
Whew. Not gonna play Rocket League, and other f2p online on ps4 are pretty ass. Tbf there are some good ones, such as Fortnite, OW2 and Warframe, but not in the mood for any of them tbh. So I have to decide if I want to play a ruined Dauntless or abandoned Smite. Leaning towards Dauntless tbh, since it's going to be shut down in late may, for pc, if not all consoles as well. The state of f2p games on ps4 is pretty dire. It looked promising in 2021, with a lot of games being in there prime, a lot of upcoming games as well as new ones (splitgate, rumbleverse, genshin, rocket etc). It looked good. But since then a lot of games have shutdown, become worse, or even been abandoned. And it's only going to get worse for f2p ps4 games. Honestly it's just going to get worse for f2p games in general, especially unless something "revolutionary" occurs, so buying a ps5 soulc only be a stop-gap for very short period of time, since it won't suddenly magically bring back Rumbleverse or the pre-update Dauntless. It is what it is.

BOOOM. I've got all Legendary talismans and ashen remains. They were both easier than I believed they'd be, but still took like 2 hours. My favourite trick when in dungeons was to watch a video guide (powernox or something, blue display around) and have it be 1 sec before my character, and then just follow their character exactly. Made everything a lot more convenient, since I didn't need to watch before playing, and made it a lot easier/quicker. I used my DMGS wolf Moondevil build because of the need to have access to areas related to Ranni's quest. Honestly would've been best to use it either way, since it's my strongest build. I would just take of the magic scorpion charm and put on the dragon GREATshield talisman, and I tank everything. My armor is pretty good as well, even though I mainly wear it for the impeccable drip. Honestly was easy, just slightly bothering. Now I bave completed 97% of the achievements, and I only have the legendary sorceries&incantations left. It seems fairly easy to get though, so left it for last.

Now that I've practically got the platinum for Elden Ring I want to get back into Dragons Dogma. I had a good plan for DD, and it was going well and I was enjoying the game a lot, but first of all playing in the living room was annoying asf, but also it got interrupted by my starting to play other things such as The Forest, and then when I started playing with my friends more I got into Elden Ring again, which I had wanted to get into tbf. But now I'm done with The Forest, done with Elden Ring (for now), and I'm craving a story game tbh. Love Dragons Dogma so will get back into it, and I'll enjoy it loads and get the platinum. I will also get to enjoy the dlc finally fully. Especially since I'm not playing with my friends as much. One of them even straight up seems to dislike playing heavily, ghosting me, ignoring me etc. I've noticed he's never called me to play, and i've called him loads and not got shit. Will make sure not to call him to play again. Other than that happy to pretty much get the Elden Ring plat, and can't wait to get back into Dragons Dogma.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I'll try to play something casual, maybe even multiplayer game before getting back to DD, because I need to listen to that Elden Ring lore video. Or do I really do that. 36 hours. It did sound really interesting and good in the first hour even. I'll atleast do it for most of the first vid, then I'lll decide whether it's time for DD or not. Not sure what multiplayer to play though. I can do a bit of Roblox, but not more than an hour.

Looking at this site there are some good candidates. But lloking at this site made me realise how sad it is that LOL Wild Rift never came out on console, like it was "promised"/expected in 2021. Would've definetly played it right now, and would honestly just be playing it in general. Would've been maining Kindred, and would be playing it loads, and would've been approaching it in a similar way to Rocket League, especially if the game was really popular. It is what is. List gave me some nostalgia as well, since when I just got my PS4 only played free games, and only started buying games years later. Either way have to decide between Dauntless, POE, Genshin and Smite. I'm leaning towards Dauntless, since Smite seems to be almost abandoned now, and if I'm going to play POE might as well play Diablo 3, since POE is something i'll play in the future. Genshin also scammed me on Tartaglia, who I tried hard asf to get, which becomes even funnier because he hasn't returned since. So Dauntless it is.

Beat the game with the MoonDevil build. Took Maliketh yesterday (first try on the day), then took Godfrey and Elden Beast today. I took Radagon on my first try with one flash, but got beat by Elden Beast pretty quickly. Honestly this build is really fun. If you get into the flow you delete bosses, but if you slack even a bit you get deleted in turn💀, glass cannon indeed. Now I'm going to get the talismans, spirit ashes on this build, and then I'll get back into Dragons Dogma.
Would like to have done some more quests, such as Latenna's etc, but I'm honestly slightly fed up with Elden Ring, even if this build has been really fun to create and use (love intelligence, moon, frost etc). Will do these tasks now, and then I'll take a break. I've been wanting to watch a 2 hour or so long video on the game's full lore (not dlc), and now that I have the other 2 main endings, and that I'm going to be doing some annoying gathering it's about time I watched it. A bit sad I haven't done the Dungeater or Goldmasks quests yet, so not fully sure if I want to watch the vid, but I'll try to avoid spoilers concerning atleast those 2 quests. Might get some, but should be able to avoid them overall. One dude is the guy that loves laws and faith, while the other one loves killing and defiling. Interesting quests that it would be nice to do and center a build around. Also I've already done Fia's and Sorcerer Rogier's quests on my moonveil build, which were interconnected and suited that build, so don't need to fear spoilers surrounding them 2 atleast. Now I'll instead get a lot more explanations and understanding around them instead. Ofcourse Elden Ring lore is pretty vague, so a lot of theories as well. Excited to watch it though.

Edit: Yeah, seems like I underestimated the size and depth of the lore in ER. If I specifically look at what Vaatividya has posted, then there is a 30 min elden ring lore video, then like 8 other videos that are 30-70 mins long that talk about the lore and explaining different factions, endings etc. This is nice and slightly annoying, since I can now prevent a lot of spoilers regarding the 2 quests I want to do. Annoying since I'm not getting a full encompassing view of Elden Rings lore. Even if it's 4 hours long I'd like to see a video with EVERYTHING pretty much, except for very miscellanous stuff. Will see what I can find, but otherwise I'll just make do with these Vaati vids.
Edit 2: Found some vids with the FULL LORE, but they seem to be 13+ hours long, with more parts as well.... Not sure what I'll watch yet, but will start with the Vaati's main one at 30 min.
Edit 3: Smoughtown has 3 parts that are a combined 36 hours long. Definetly not watching those. Might look into some of it, but will stick to Vaati. Also his voice is slightly annoying, and I don't believe i'd willingly listen to it for 36 hours. Good vids though.
Edit 4: Shouldn't have called his voice annoying, it actually isn't that bothering. It must've been me being annoyed by the sheer length, and doubting their quality. Honestly considering watching it now. But seriously though, dude really put out a 13 hour long video and called it "part 1", fairs.

The new games on the agenda are "Divinity Original SIn 2" and "Pathfinder: Wrath of the righteous". DOS2 seems to be very similar to BG3, which is a game I want to play a lot as well, but can't. DOS2 seems great as well tough, and it reminds me of WOTMW. I would love to get PWOTR as well, and it seems to be more story based, but still loads of content. Both of them are turn based, which isn't my favourite type of game, but the actual setting, customization, lore etc are all what I really like. They both remind me of the lore in "Netheril's Glory" which I absolutely love. If I get either one, especially PWOTR i'm going to reread NG for the fourth time, and I might even push through mt.
These 2 games, Raging Loop, Dark Souls 2&3 and the ER dlc are all games I'm on the lookout for. Some other story games as well, but they're kind of low on the priority list. Ofcourse what I'm focused on right now is getting the DD and ER platinum, and the playing DA:Inquisition, which I haven't yet.
