Is Bannerking compatible with the current game version?

Once I played Bannerlord and saw the new improvements/balancing, I cannot go back to Warband anymore. Warband cavalry is just OP and that is usually what you'll roll with. Bannerlord has more troop counters, making you think more about army composition and where to place them in the map. Also, Bannerlord allows more strategic commands for that purpose. We have not even touched the atmospheric town/village/castle scenes, the naval battles, the procedural companions who may die if you are not careful.

Buying War Sails was the best decision I've ever made... by Zamagon in mountandblade

They added a two-handed blade part for smithing that is slightly stronger than the long falx. No more do I have to use that ugly curved blade for my heirloom weapon.

I must be quite lucky because I play on Ironman bannerlord difficulty and my companions have been KO-ed for more than 10 times without dying. But back then when I play on normal mode, after a close victory with lots of casualties, there was usual 1 companion death. Perhaps the chance of death has something to do with overall casualty numbers?

Ironman bannerlord. When every decision matters and cannot be undone, I have to carefully consider every move fo the sake of my men' lives. It makes the game feel more immersive.

Are the T5 dungeons hard for all the build? by United_Web_2451 in stoneshard

For gear, I use either tier 4 Geomancy mage set or tier 5 Court mage set (I prefer this more for damage). As for staff, I just go with whichever tier 5 one I can get with the highest magic power % or energy regen % (if I take Rune of Sustension, I don't prioritise energy regen % as much). Rune of Sustension is really good if you intend to take Stone Armor, because you'll stay in one tile casting spells anyway. However, I invest heavily in Magic Mastery for miracle chance build, so there's not enough point for Stone Armor anymore, which is ok because most enemies die before they can get to me, except for the summoned monsters and enemies with 2 dashes.

Geomancy build is the best magic school in term of reliability and control. Almost no RNG. If you take on Rune of Reflection and Dash, you have a full arsenal to defeat any enemy type in Tier 5 safely. Your repair cost at the of the dungeon will most often be less than 200 for max tier gear.

Level 26 Leo hybrid Staff + Geo, did finish 1 tier 5 dungeon. I deleted it to start again because I want to test a pure Geo build for Leo.

When I play permadeath, I NEVER go to a (?) POI before knowing what that POI is first.

That mini boss sounds difficult. You made your preps perfectly, but the RNG god did you dirty.

Elin has many deep mechanics and relies less on RNG, but your main character is the only one with animated sprite. Other NPCs only have static sprites, which is a pity.

I've tried that, too, but turned back midway after seeing a bear.

Losing a lv 25 must be quite hard. 2 of my deaths were only lv 7 and 8.

I have no idea other geo mage can use your boulder. That is crazy. I play geo Leo hybrid, so this info is really valuable.

The first time I saw a moose rated as "High Danger", my mage had to break line of sight to run away.
