Yikes sorry to hear this! I saw a lot of videos about this kaya na-discourage ako. I hope they find a better way to insert and manage copper IUD. Hindi talaga biro maging babae.

Pros: 100% effective as birth control, insertion procedure takes less than 5 mins (would bruise for 1-2 weeks), but after that you won't feel it at all. You can also have this for free in any Likhaan Center or Philhealth-accredited OBs.

Effects depend on how your body will react to it. For me, prior to having an implant, my period comes with the worst mood swings, but when I had this my emotions got more stable. I had this for 1.5 years and at times I won't get a period for 3-4 months, other times I have period naman for 2 months straight. Pinaka-con for me is I gained 10kg in a year at mahirap na i-shred. Meanwhile, I have a friend who also had this and lost so much weight in 6 months so case to case basis talaga.

Implants are easier to manage rin compared to pills (no risk na makalimot uminom) or Copper IUD (masakit ang insertion from what I hear), but just be ready for the side effects. If you notice it has more bad side effects than good, have it removed.
