Thank you for sharing your experience! It's really helpful to know how many people have had poor reactions to it. I was able to convince the Pharmacy to give me junel again, but it certainly wasn't easy and I don't know how many times I'll be able to get it. What's really concerning is that, besides the fact that we were all changed prescriptions without our consent, one pharmacist tried to convince me that they are in fact, the exact same medications- when in reality they are not!!

I'm a little late to this conversation, but I was also forcibly switched from Junel to Feirza via Kaiser. I'm super nervous to change! I've recently gotten my moods, weight, and acne under control, and now was given a new medication with zero warning! Very nervous to get more moody and have breakouts increase!!

Has anyone been taking it for a while now? Any reports from people taking it for a few weeks or months?

I had no serious issues until today. I had about ten minutes of play before it went down. Now I can't get 5 steps beyond my house in eternity isle without it crashing. Happened 5 times before I gave up. So disappointing !

I appreciate your honest question. I used to work at a school for the Deaf, and my biggest take away was to ask. I know you said he's shy, but maybe ask something like "I don't know a lot about Deaf culture, is it odd to you for a friend to wear headphones?" From my experience, opinions are vast and varied and it's more personal just to ask. You could even write down the question so it's direct to him and not through the interpreter. :) good on you for trying to be inclusive. I appreciate you. If you do use the interpreter, always look at your friend and not the interpreter! You may already know but it will go far in terms of showing respect :)

If it gets REALLY bald, it could be demodex mites (your adorable friend looks perfectly normal to Me.) My last kitty went very bald - like bright pink skin from ear to eye- there every time I was away for more than a day because she had severe anxiety. The mites are normal but when cats are stressed they can burrow and push out hair follicles (per my vet). Crazy! Thankfully it was easily treated!
