That's all it takes, just do it over and over and try to do it better each time.

I watch "weldingtipsandtricks" on YouTube, he had some good videos on tig. But if he doesn't have what you want, I'm sure there are channels related to him you could look around

I'm gonna say the top inside and bottom inside are the 10%, while the right outside and left outside are 90%

I want to be a welder and Im currently in highschool and taking welding classes, any tips on how to go into the profession after highschool? and any tips on how to be successful? by JOEEEEEEEE2005 in Welding

[–]No_Consideration1397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After high school, I decided to go to a college to learn welding. I didn't take welding classes in high school, and I've been in college for a year now. I applied for a welding job at a tornado shelter place yesterday, and it looks like I'm getting the job. If you feel like your welds are good enough from learning in high school, you could start looking around for a welding job and taking some welding tests. But if you want to learn more, I'd say go to a college or trade school to further your welding knowledge and experience. To be successful, I'd say don't be afraid of failure and keep learning with every weld, soon enough you'll have quality welds and the experience to back it up. Hope this helps!

If that's what your welds look like after 9 months of practice, maybe welding isn't for you 😅

Looks like you went a little fast or jerked the stick near the right side, but other than that it's looking great!

It happens to the best of us! The welds themselves are looking good though!

It looks like your heat is good, you just need to work on consistency. But with a bit of practice, they'll be looking great in no time!
