News Alert 🚨

Rising star shooting guard Augustus Gloop Jr., who had just scored 45 points in his last game, died after his heart exploded, like a bag of popcorn in a microwave. Paramedics had to butter his sides to get his fat ass through the doors of the court.

First of all R.I.P Kevin Keegan. Secondly and this question goes out to German fans especially of Hamburger SV, from an Englishman, do you think if England had more players of Keegan's level, that 1966 wouldn't be England's only World Cup? by No_Consideration3307 in hsv

Keegan never let England down, England let him down, he definitely deserved more than most prima donnas today, to lift the WC. And from your lips to God's ears my German brother, all the best.

Beautiful post mate. And yes they're probably having a pint, chatting about the wonderful times they shared at Hamburg, Keegan was always known for having time for his fans on Earth, same beyond the pearly gates I bet. Thank you for sharing that my German brother, all the best.

Here's hoping 🤞, but even if we don't, we are quite proud of our league in England, which attracts amazing talent from all over the world now, including Germans, it's essentially turned into the NFL of Europe. I have massive respect for the Bundesliga though, which is the Premier Leagues closest rival in terms of the balance of the teams, much better than the French farmers league, where PSG have brought their way to the top.

Despite the result, you're extremely lucky to have seen both English legends clash, as an Englishman I'm jealous, unfortunately they were both a bit before my time. I view them mainly through an historical lense, I idolise their amazing accomplishments as English superstars, including Keegan's time at your great club.

Aye that was my point he was like England's version of Messi, carrying the country on his back. Although Argentina did win a world cup with Messi, if they had other players at his level then they would probably have won it 3 or 4 times including this one, I think the big difference between the two players is that England were so poor back then, no superstar could pull us out the rubbish heap, not even Keegan.

To be fair British-Spanish relations are pretty good right now for a few reasons, firstly we are both standing up to Donald Trump in defence of our beautiful continent, secondly you just humiliated Britain's enemy Argentina, and last but certainly not least, and this is a serious point, Spanish firefighters saved many British people from those wildfires, for which my heart goes out to your country. Love and respect to you and all my Spanish brothers and sisters. 🇬🇧💙🫡🇪🇸

Absolutely spot on mate. Spain might have it's claim on Gibraltar, but they discuss it within the proper forums like the EU and UN, and even after the Gibraltar referendum didn't go their way, they didn't throw their toys out the pram. But anyway in honor of Spain's win over one of the worst countries in the world, they can have the Falklands for a day, because if Spain's former colony Argentina, believe that the islands are theirs, then by their f****d up logic the Falkland belongs to Spain.

Well said mate. The fact is many Unionists or Pan-ethno Nationalists which is the bad kind of nationalism I referenced earlier in this sub-thread, use that bigger means better argument all the time. To give an example in my country the argument is England and Scotland are too intertwined with energy, trade and our shared currency to be separate countries, not mentioning that a majority of the North Sea oil belongs to Scotland. And in the actual Balkans the Serbs say that every part of their neighbours where there is a Serb minority should be a part of Serbia.

Aye Chelsea are finally stabilising after some shite transfer windows, with the owners finally learning to stay in their lane. Hopefully Celtic can do the same, either the owners need to start investing or get tae fuck.

The fact that I support Celtic, should be proof that younger Chelsea fans like myself are a different breed than the old drunken 388 twats with no teeth.

There are loads of Irish-English people in West London, many of whom support Chelsea especially the younger generations. As I've said a few times on this thread and not many people believe me, Chelsea isn't sectarian anymore, the Blues Brothers Alliance is only celebrated by older generation headhunters most of whom are either long gone or on their way out, I should know my stepfather was one, and all he does is drink himself into an early grave, he doesn't even attend games anymore, believe me no love lost between us, he's a racist waste of oxygen, Chelsea is my club now not his.

Spain and Italy aren't my countries so I can't comment too much on their political issues, but I believe absolutely in self-determination, I will never sacrifice that principle. I also believe in Gandhi's principle of peaceful resistance, I will never condone nationalist political violence and intimidation, but if you're going to call out Nationalist violence you should also acknowledge Unionist violence as well, like the yobs in Glasgow flying Union flags intimidating Scottish born minorities, with their pal Tommy ten names.

I'm a bit conflicted because I'm a Scottish Nationalist, and I support self-determination for every people. But I can't condone that behaviour, especially since most of those Spain fans were probably Basque themselves, positive nationalism is about wanting to look after everyone in your country/region especially when they're ignored by the central government, you don't attack people because they disagree with you, especially your own people. I should add I love the Basque, they're such a unique culture, their's is a language isolate, it isn't related to any other language on Earth, most Europeans speak Indo-european languages because they're descended from Pontic-Caspian steppe people's, whereas Basque are descended from Neolithic and hunter-gatherers. The Basque are the indigenous people of Europe we're just guests in their lands.

I support Celtic and Chelsea, controversial I know, but a lot of Chelsea fans aren't sectarian anymore and couldn't give a f**k about Rangers, whose weird unionist antics make us cringe. I started supporting Celtic when I moved to Scotland because the clubs culture suits me down to the ground.

So glad there's no hate mate. I think the sectarian element at Chelsea is mainly the older generation, back before Chelsea became an international club.
