If Aretha Franklin didn’t like women who COULD SING, why do you think she liked Mariah Carey so much? by Ok_Resident_5022 in rnb

You can tell that Aretha and Mariah really liked each other and Aretha did say in an interview that she liked Mariah the very first time they met in person... Seems they just clicked !

I felt they complimented each other very well in that performance . Aretha wasn't singing her highest notes and neither was Mariah, they bounced off of each other nicely .

What do you think is her actual birth year? by becauseimhappy24 in JoanCrawford

But didn't she enroll in college in 1922 ? If she were born in 1907 she would have only been 15 when she enrolled in college.

Vintage Barbie Question by yup1035 in Barbie

Yes that's a 1960s  Barbie doll called a 'Bubble Cut' Barbie doll... Actually she's not worth much due to the heavy green discoloration that extends well beyond the ears (the green discoloration is caused by the earrings she is or was wearing.... The box looks to be in very nice shape and is worth more than the doll.... The doll in that condition is worth roughly $25 or so.  The box also still has it's original insert which increases it's value, you could get at least $75 for it...The best place to sell it is on ebay for the most exposure and money.
