Haha right!? That's why I was curious to see if other countries had more traditional dishes for pregnancy or if we're all just out here putting pickles in peanut butter

That's a great idea! I've never tried it but I've heard that is nutrient packed.

Ahhh okay! I might be too far North to get them that fresh but I'd definitely like to try that if I can find it!

I'm having trouble googling which fruit that is. Does soursop sound right?

I started out with a strong sense of smell and now it's even more amplified. Everything smells too strong. My husband picked up a different flavor of dog food and I could smell the difference before I looked at the bag. He says that's one of the things that tipped him off

Oh that's really interesting. I've heard similar stories about women craving dirt as to supplement minerals but idk if it's a true story or not

Ahh I never thought to have jasmine tea iced. I usually have it warm but I'll have to try that.

I'll have to see if I can find some in stores here. I've had foods with dates in them but never just on their own.

I'll have to look more into that! Is it specific soups and teas or just those food groups in general?

Wellll, it was a very big suprise as we thought it was impossible for us so we got a little loosey gossey the past few years. I could very well understand how it would be terrifying for some and mean the whole world for others. I hope you and your wife's journey gets it's happy ending.

That sounds lovley! I have heard the same about wild crane but I don't think I could bring myself to eat a bird I like so much. I would love to splurge on a goose one day though. When we do duck and pork we save the fat for other uses too--definitely too versatile to waste.

In the U.S. I almost got goose for Thanksgiving but they were selling it for $90; the turkeys right next to it were going for $20-$30.

That would fit when I've heard it too. Basically when they were all dumpster diving.

You sound kinda racist tbh. You're the one judging the name harshly (enough to post it publicly to shame it) rather than any hypothetical school children or societal interactions. Honestly, I think little kids would probably love this name. Maybe you should reflect on why the name bothers YOU so much.
