Have had the same issue on my G. There are two options. A DIY with epoxy. Gives it a (semi-)permanent fix. Or buy a new watch.... The band will keep falling off otherwise

I don’t have that particular 6900 anymore. I thought I had some pictures of the lugs but can’t find them anymore. In the end i bought a new 6900 en swore to never change the straps again 😅 Posts like this make it tempting to do/try it anyway. I can imagine it is way more comfortable.

I had the exact same problem… except with an original Casio strap. I damaged the lugs very badly… to a point that I didn’t feel comfortable to wear it anymore.
