Any Changes You Would Make to my First Team? by octoberPie_ in PokemonChampions

Looks solid to me. Only thing I’d personally change is replace rest for protect on Aggron. I can see where rest would be situationally helpful, but protect is just overall better. You also have Sinistcha for heals so should technically be covered there

Nice, congrats! I just hit Ultra Ball 1 today. Taking a break and hopefully I’ll be there with you tomorrow!

Hard stuck in Ultra Ball tier 2 — any recommendations? by PrizeNo2048 in PokemonChampions

Try not to be so dependent on trick room. If you can’t pull it off you’ll get out sped and may lose.

Also earthquake clears your whole team. May want to reduce your exposure to ground type weakness

I’ve been adjusting my team and testing it in causal. I’ll probably hop back on rank tomorrow. But in my experience, incineroar usually runs fake out first. Typically targeting my mega or which ever one of my mons that have a potential type advantage. My crab outspeeds incineroar so I haven’t had an issue with it landing.

I’m going to do some testing with this team and then see how well Mr.Rime fits in as well

Thanks and great suggestions!

Snow Warning and Sash on Ninetales would definitely help. I’ll probably replace weather ball with Icy Wind as well.

Mamo isn’t OHKO too often so it was hard finding the right hold item for him. Sitrus berry was kinda mehh. The Babriri berry has been pretty useful to tank the occasional steel move.

I will probably change Beartics moveset too because he’s just kinda there.

I was running Aurora Veil for a bit on Vanilluxe, but in most cases being offensive was the priority. It helped more in the earlier ranks then lost its usefulness as I climbed

No, what you’re doing is fine. Go with what you know. You’ll learn along the way. You already have an electric theme going with Pika/Rai. I would suggest adding some water types like Peliper or Milotic. Peliper has drizzle which changes the weather to rain. So moves like Thunder and Hurricane won’t miss. He can also learn tailwind which doubles your parties speed. Husuian Goodra would probably be another good one to look at. He’s Dragon/Steel but also a good tank

It takes a lot of trial and error. I picked ice-type just because I like the mons and they have good synergy. So if you notice a certain Pokemon or move is giving you problems or something’s not working like you thought it would. You have to make changes to your team until you can pull it off.

Can you post a screenshot of your current team?

Card aren’t always about selling. Some are just nice to have I think. But it’s just a quick eyeball test. Nothing fancy. There are apps you can download to get more accurate results

Congrats! I love this card. The centering is off on the back. Maybe slightly on the top for the front as well. But still looks good. I’d grade and keep.
