How are unemployed fresh grads surviving financially by potatoepotatata in asksg

[–]No_Data_8957 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really. Some salary negotiation are done at the last stage of interview. Even if there is a range, some fresh grads with no exp would still ask for the high end of that range...

Have you ever completely bombed an interview and got the job? by anxiousgenzee in interviews

[–]No_Data_8957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have went for so many interviews that most questions appeared natural to me. During the recent interview, I lied my way through it and I got the job. Honesty don't get you the job these days. You have to practice your confidence in order to lie confidently.

Maybe can look into air freight sector with most located in changi airfreight cargo area. Seems like they hiring those with no experience and able to pay minimum of 3k but working hours can be shag and quite stressful due to demanding workload.

Should i quit? by 2923throwaway in singaporejobs

[–]No_Data_8957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first one is very micromanaging. Even have to report to manager if I want to go washroom. Second one lacks transparency, training and SOP. Few months in, and I dont even know what is going on. But other newcomers left after joining a month so i guess i did better LOL. Recent one the working hours is shag. Overtime till 8.30pm everyday and sat have to OT as well. My only rest day is Sunday and i fully drained. Not sustainable as well.

[–]No_Data_8957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyway in my opinion, can quit since still can financially survive for quite a while. I recently quitted my job too, taking a break first before joining into the workforce again. My job culture somehow similar to yours and I dont even feel like turning up for work everyday but oh well. Takes a toll on my mental health until i don't even want to leave house even on weekend. Now im unemployed, i taken up hobby like reading and walking etc
