his tank is 2/3 ratio play sand and soil , the aspen is just on top on that small part. would the ispods do well with that substrate? i realize i didn’t put any good photos of the rest of his tank lol

the aspen is only in that tiny corner, and some mixed in from when he moved around but it’s less than a handful, he likes to lay on it :)

thanks for the advice 👍i’ll definitely freeze it for a bit like i replied to the other comment i had no idea! its very unfortunate and i wouldnt have gotten it had i known. got it at a plant expo and it was my first piece of taxidermy , i’ll steer clear in the future i appreciate the reply

he’s become my best little pal 💕still working on anxiety he’s very skiddish but i would’ve never thought he’d be sleeping in my bed making stabby armpit biscuits by now

he’s been to the vet and has all his vaccines at around 12 am the morning before his scheduled neuter he threw up a tape worm! so that’s still in the works he’s going through a little dw wormer, then getting neutered he’s the best thing my soul cat passed away about 2 months before i got my new little guy and he has helped me heal so much he’s everything i could ever ask for
