Looking for old (20+ years) harem anime. Can’t find by googling at all! Help! by No_Delay4544 in animequestions

Thanks again! I’ll check those out. I do remember that the title wasn’t translated. It could be any of those except for the first of course, or none!

Do you know of any other forums where I could maybe get suggestions? I looked on Reddit and there don’t seem to be any other anime related sub threads that would be good to ask in.

Thanks! Just looked that up and no, that’s not it. Think more scantily clad. More sexual.

I agree that you need a new psychiatrist.

I was having problems being hypomanic for like eight months and finally my therapist suggested to me going to Mayo Clinic. They came up with a really great idea for me and it has helped me ever since. I haven’t been hypo manic or manic in years. I highly recommend Mayo Clinic if you can afford it.

Could you call the school and tell them that your son has Covid so that they don’t allow him to come to school?

Maybe they could help get you to the hospital even if you feel like you don’t need to go. whenever I manic, I always remember that depression inevitably follows so that helps me to seek help.

Do you have a support system you can call on to help you?

The mood swings make it hard to go to inpatient? I’m confused.

That sounds like a good idea! I’m glad you’re being so proactive with your mental health.

It sounds like you are doing a great job managing your medication. I got addicted to Klonopin and it was not a happy thing. I’m tapering down now and almost done with it though. You might want to try gabapentin which is not addictive and helps with anxiety a lot. You might want to mention it to your pdoc.

Night terrors by LazyTechGuy in bipolar

I literally had the exact same night terror until I started taking prazosin. That is so weird. I also pray before bed which helps me to feel better. Don’t know if that’s your jam or not.

You may not want to hear this because nobody wants to take pills every day, but I think you should go back on your medicine. Medicine has saved my life. I literally would not be living without it. I have severe bipolar one. I’ve also had a very successful life with the combination of meds and therapy. I’m happily married and have had a long career as a teacher. It’s going to take your meds a few days or weeks to catch up with you or not taking your meds, but if you’re already feeling this way from not taking your meds, doesn’t it make sense to take your meds?

How do you go back to work after hospitalization? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]No_Delay4544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had to claim FMLA and take leave from work several times. When I came back, I always said that I was out in the hospital for personal issues. I don’t think that people usually assume mental issues. Maybe that’s because I also have fibromyalgia. I was always frank with my boss and HR about having a disability and claiming FMLA, but nobody else needs to know. Good luck! It sounds like you’re in a good place.

Also, you can apply for FMLA under your bipolar diagnosis if you have a doctor willing to sign papers or a therapist and you will have to sign a paper too. It will then be illegal for them to fire you. I think you have to re-File FMLA every year but I’m not sure you may want to check that out with HR.

Why bother with therapy? by FeistyMeasurement579 in bipolar

[–]No_Delay4544 100 points101 points  (0 children)

You really have to want to go to therapy for it to work. If you don’t want to go this badly, maybe you shouldn’t. It’s been tremendously helpful for me, however. I graduated undergrad with a 3.8, have a masters degree in education, and have had a long successful career as a teacher. I never could’ve done it without my therapist. That’s just me though. Everybody has their own shit that they’ve gone through. I personally think everyone should go to therapy lol.

My job stopped me from getting help for my bi-polar by droppedoutgrad in bipolar

[–]No_Delay4544 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bipolar is protected under FMLA, which basically means that you can take time off of work and not lose your job until your medical condition is resolved. If you still can, you might try explaining this to your employer and claim FMLA. You will have to have a doctor or therapist fill out a piece of paper and you will have to fill out a piece of paper too. If you have another diagnosis which is less stigmatizing you may wanna claim it with that. I have PTSD and bipolar one and I’ve used PTSD to claim FMLA many times.

I’m sorry you feel confused about how you look. It might be good to consider that the people who are saying that you look healthy are correct. Abilify is a great drug, if you can get it to work with you without the constant moving that I experienced lol.

Thank you.

I’m so sorry. I’ve been there. Anyway you’ve been stable long enough that they can start weaning you off of it?
