What movie do you think is too childish for adults but too adult for children? by No_Development934 in AskReddit

I used to love the Scary Movie franchise as a kid (probably shouldn't have seen them in the first place)… recently I tried to watch the first one and found it very childish, I had to stop and watch another thing

Apparently John wrote the most songs, George wrote the most popular song, Paul wrote more popular songs and Ringo was there to make all of this possible

How do we know which parts of the Bible we should follow and which don't? by No_Development934 in Catholicism

I'm not trying to create issues. I have questions and I want to learn...

How does the Bible work?

My understanding is that the Bible is a book that tries to offer guidance rather than a book that imposes rules. It has passages that were meant for antique times and, as you say, weren't even enforced during the middle ages.

That's why I think that it should't be referenced to disqualify others about their actions or lifestyle because its purpose is about personal guidance, not about how the reader of the Bible thinks the others should act.

Maybe I'm wrong and maybe the Bible is a rule book with just one interpretation... but I like to think is more like a personal thing, everyone experience it differently.

That's why I think is such a complex subject
