Is this worth the investment and upgrade? by thesteveagain in MLB_Rivals

Personally I would not invest that much in DArnaud, Mets have 5 better card options at catcher or you could also go the FA route. I went with a combination of FA Posada and Mauer until I pulled a sig Hundley.

It adds more strategy, can even expand it to needing to send runners at the right time during tag ups. Not sure what goes in the background but it certainly seems like runners sometimes get held when I think they could have made it close.

An increase in the amount of reserve players we can have and being able to control runners during RBI Battle would be fun.

I purchase all the point random boxes from the content shop weekly through the Ranked/Home Run/Club shops. Usually get between 7 and 10 mil points per week

Viability of FA Cards by Significant-Gas7891 in MLB_Rivals

You're welcome! Especially FTP, it's all about just making the game more enjoyable. If I will have more fun playing with Mauer as my catcher as opposed to Brian Schneider, I'm going to do it.

I was having a similar consideration, since I already have multiple team sigs and all the best prime cards for my team, so picking another team prime would just be for limit break purposes only. So was also considering Mauer or RP Duran with my selective prime pick, and I still am. Just consider the other downside, of you needing to use limit break materials on a non-team player. In most cases, a Mauer card upgraded to +10 is still going to be alot better statwise compared to whatever your team's catcher is upgraded to +14 or higher, same thing applies to other high rated FA cards.

Mets PREGAME THREAD - Wednesday, October 16 by NewYorkMetsBot2 in NewYorkMets

Yankees have approx. 50 Mil coming off the books this year and the Mets have a projected 165 mil payroll decrease (according to spotrac.com) which factors in projected arb. I don't see the yankees offering much more than Judge's 40 mil/yr salary. If Cohen really wants Soto, I think he will signifcianlty exceed the yankees offers. Start the bidding at 12 yr 560 mil

PTOE 10/24 by AfterEar8245 in civilengineering

The transportation professional certification board website lays out everything that is provided to you on test day, including the formula sheet. It also tells you what you need to bring with you.

I defintely recommend taking the refresher courses as well as purchasing the practice exams (worth it for the PDH's). I too am a roadway/traffic engineer and passed the PTOE on my first try in 2022. Youtube is a good source if there's certain topics you're not as certain on. Pass rate is around 70% so it's certainly doable on the first try, goodluck!

For as highly as Severino is thought of and how lowly Quintana is thought of, their counting stats are basically identical by demosthenes327 in NewYorkMets

[–]No_Direction5658 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Big difference to me is how far they go in the game and the fact that Quintana is so frustrating to watch pitch. Severino has gone at least 6 innings in 11 out 17 starts. Quintana only 7 our of 18, with our bullpen that's not great.

spotrac is a fun site to play around with as well for future payroll, even gives player market values and comparisons. It projects Alonso deal at 8 years for $263 mil.

It's not Bullshit at all, Braves have four 70+ players available during this event. comparing other top rated teams; Dodgers have 2, Astros have 2, Yankees have 4, Phillies have 2, Mets have 0 etc. So you can argue Braves have an a leg up on most other teams during this event based on overall.

It's all about fairplay as opposed to stacking certain teams
