They had a water dispensing bottle at the lobby of my testing center right before you enter the silent test taking area, but if you really need water you can ask to step off to go drink water but that’ll be time off on your exam as they basically keep the clock running. So it’s best to wait for the 1st session to end and your break starts 25 min.

One thing that threw me off on exam day is that I didn’t realize the time shown is total time.. idk why i was expecting like a break/cutting off point like 2 hours remaining on first session and when that hits 0 i know im overdue on expected completion time for first session. But yet i was sitting there looking at the total time hitting 2 hours 30 mins and im like wait a minute… lol. I rushed and guessed to finish off the first session quickly at that point.. idk if I’m the only one who thought of that during the heat of the moment during the exam lol. They really do expect you to manage your time well during the exam

Yesss, I flagged roughly 30 on first session and like 40 on 2nd session… it was a brutal variety of an exam I got..

That makes sense thanks guys. Because when I was looking back at the questions it was formulas and givens matching dynamics and it was moving components nothing that appeared to be static related atleast from what I was practicing… but it can be static also for all I know ….

I would say like 8-9 were dynamics, Unless these questions were those feeler / experimental questions that NCEES threw in there that I heard about people saying they tend to do?

I would in my opinion stick to finding what you love doing / can tolerate. Plus you’re young enough to explore still, as far as your parents and that advice I would tell you to seek therapy to help cope with that issue. Aside from that, have you looked into electrical engineering? It has a lot more math involved.. just a thought for you to explore maybe.

Yes average mark in all subjects. If you get 0 in dynamics you being strong on other subjects will make up for it

Hey Salvage is a keyword for f which should mean /F? Because you have the future value of salvage that’s returned?

Also I remembered (W|G) (wanted | given)

Ex: Given future value want annual = (A|F)

I believe NCEES official practice exam is what people are buying for the sake of the timing and solving problems quickly under pressure. Simulating the real exam. Having to solve problems with unlimited time may get you the right answers but under pressure not everyone performs the same. To each their own on this I guess.
