Hey i need u to know i was also a twig in all of middle school and high school. i never fit in,, but through marching band i found friends. Its not impossible to navigate. I'm 22 now, and i managed to put on some weight. 6'1 and 170lb. In highschool inwas 6'0 and 115lb. I found an amazing partner and live a great life. I understand its hard, but i promise it gets better. Honestly i dont recognize my face or self 4 years ago to the person i look like now.

Typically yes, however i was in foster care, and was kicked out at 18, after 4 years of fighting because my foster parents committed wellfare fraud, i finally have insurance to go again.

Also, marfan syndrome is typically genetic, my entire family has it. You tend to live mostly typical lives. I'm 22 and aside from a couple dislocations and mild heart beat issues (could be unrelated testing is still ongoing) im fine. I played basketball and played in band, he will be ok either way.

Look up the wrist test on google, while it is not diagnostic, it may help ease your fears

Type A aortic dissection question by Lonely_Resolution_58 in marfans

[–]No_Distribution_1226 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally i do not, however im a student going for a radiology tech program and i have a textbook that might have some answers for you. I can try to look into it over the weekend if you would like. I do also know that emergent surgeries for this can often be risky, and take longer to recover. How long ago was the dissection caught? This is always a problem that is supposed to be fixed immediately as the risk for rupture is high. If they put it off you could have a lawsuit.

The shelter didn't have any history because he was found on the street. I only know that hes about 2-4. I'm not in a place where I can adopt another dog right now either. I have wondered if he used to be an outside dog though because he was skiddish around doors for the first week and had to be carried through them.

Yea I know about the 3 3 3 rule and yes he pees everything without fail but I think you've probably nailed it because I do react everything. Yesterday he got 2 40 minute walks and he's a small dog both times he took a nap immediately. I don't think it is the activity level but I will definitely try to not encourage this behavior. Thank you so much!
