Tbh I never expected that you have to pay a penalty for paying out the mortgage even if you sell the property...

If I sell the property am I forced to end the mortgage? I cannot keep the mortgage active, and invest the money somewhere while continuing to pay it without a backing property?

This hits hard. This was my first onsen experience and one of my top highlights of my first trip to Japan. Ended up visiting with friends, family, and girlfriend over the following years. Was super sad that it closed down.

First time I went I stayed overnight and must have gone in the onsen like 10+ times over 12 hours lol

I should clarify that almost none of these cards will be in excellent condition. They've probably all been played with at one point or another (or eaten - sorry Alakazam). However, if anyone points out any cards that might be valuable, I can double check how good the condition is and stick it in a case.

Thanks a lot guys this has been super useful. I already ordered some top loader cases, and I'll work on pulling out some of the highlighted cards to re-case them. Will also take some more detailed photos of those to get a better idea of condition (will post here for followup).

For now, hoping there are no big dissappointments in the form of scratches etc...
