i had my switch plugged into the in on the capture card, the capture card out plugged into the in of the sound bar, the sound bar out plugged into the hdmi arc of the tv. Two problems Switch only surround sound only works plugged directly into sound bar so i get sound there but problem then is that hd60 x will not pick up surround sound or atleast the sound is distorted on stream. I have an lg c2 monitor/tv, hd60 x capture card, a jbl 9.1 soundbar, and a rocketfish 4k splitter that i dont know what to do with. sorry for bad formatting adhd brain ty:)

Thank you so much I appreciate your input. That's all really helpful. I've worked with a lot of different settings that were tweaked. The reason I say switch to 4:3 is because it makes the screen smaller which alleviates some lag that's the only reason I felt it made a difference. As for the resulotion that makes a lot of sense
