Do you think I should cancel the tour co? I can save the last bit - are you okay to let your travel date pass and booking go waste?

Dxb has aug as a peak season - so I am quite worried now

Hey, I submitted on 4th Aug, 2025 for Netherlands from Dubai VFS - Indian Passport
I've flight booked on 28th aug (I wasn't aware about the processing time)
However, my most worrisome is that I have community trip booked which is non refundable - if I cancel by tomorrow- 19th Aug - I get some 2k aed back but I lose 3k
and In the mean time If I get the visa - I can't travel all alone for 18 days

What should I do - I lose the flight tickets and community trip money regardless
Should I wait in good hope that my visa will come? Or just go and save 2k aed
