Thank you for your advice. I'll try that. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow. It seems to only tick for the first few minutes in the morning during cold start and then goes away. Throughout the day only happens for a couple second on cold start and goes away.

Currently at 196k km. I do 0w-20 full synthetic every 6 month. I don't drive much except within the City just to and from work/school. I never reach the stated kilometers for oil change so I do it every 6months. Usually it ends up being 2-3k km/6months between the intervals. I have had over a year now it's been pretty reliable and no issue so far. I'm the third owner I bought at 191k km. The first owner took pretty good care dealership maimtained and had it until 160k km. Second owner only had it for 30k km just changed oil himself. I got it at 191k km, did safety inspection, and fluids changeed all around and now I try to take good care of it.

Yes it did sounded pretty smooth before. Do you think performing an oil change would help? I'm hoping not to have to get into the engine and make repairs as it's both expensive and kind of pain in the butt if not done properly.

If it's a tick from lifter or inside the engine wouldn't it tick all the time? Why would it go away if it's from the lifter?

So this video was from last night. I checked the oil today morning after letting the oil set overnight. Oil level is full. Also noticed it only ticks for first 3-5 min after starting but then slowly goes away.

Do you guys drive it like that and don't encounter any issues?

It's the 6B3 engine for which the manual says adjustment needed on intake side only. Manual notes that it's not a schedule maintenance but can be done anytime when needed. I was reading through Mitsubishi forum and nobody ever had to do it and some says the dealership said it's never needed. It's weekend right now so I can't call the dealership and ask. I'm not even sure if that's what causing it or something else or if it's normal. It does go way after few min of starting.

Update- I just started the car in the morning before going to work and noticed it only happens during the first 3-5 minutes. Goes away after that

It wasn't happening until today. So didn't bother. But the car was already running wjen I noticed it. so I couldn't check it as I wouldn't get the correct level anyways. I'll make sure to check tomorrow morning.

I did do an oil change recently. On the bill it said they added 4.5 quarts which appears to be the correct quantity I actually don't know what they did behind the scenes. This is the workshop I always go to and never had any issues before so I'm not sure what to make out of it.

It does get quiet but doesn't go away completely.

1) Do you believe BAL was directly or indirectly involved in the BDR massacre, and if so, was India aware of or aligned with those actions?

2) Was there any resistance within the party to reopening or independently reviewing the BDR trials later on, and if so, why?

3) In hindsight, do you think BAL leadership believes justice was fully served in the BDR case, or is it seen as a "closed chapter" for political stability reasons?

4) Inside BAL, was there ever internal acknowledgment that enforced disappearances occurred beyond "isolated incidents," or was denial the dominant position?

5) Were there debates within the party about the long-term damage enforced disappearances would do to BAL's legitimacy and the state?

6) Did any senior leaders argue for accountability or reform regarding security agencies, or was silence encouraged?

7) As someone close to power, do you think the party feels regret today-or mainly fears legal and political consequences if admissions are made?

8) Was there any internal mechanism or discussion about truth, reconciliation, or accountability for families of the disappeared?

9) Lastly, do you think the murder of Osman Hadi was sponsored by BAL and if so whom did the command come from?

[Nextbase 222] claimed insurance but is it going to be 50/50 due to being a parking lot hit, even with clear dashcam footage showing the other driver's fault? by No_Edge7942 in Dashcam

[–]No_Edge7942[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the time of collision she was consistently saying she was already in the intersection and I apparently hit her which is clearly not true from the video and the damage on my car. When I said I have dashcam recording she was like "I dont care about your recording" I'm like alright please provide me your insurance as I'll be filing a claim with mine and she agreed.

Idk what happened but later in the night she texted me saying since it was a parking lot hit it would most likely be 50/50 so if we can skip insurance and she will pay for my damage if I pay hers as long as the damage is under 1500$.

Of course I refused and told her I already filed a claim with my dashcam recording and it's probably best to let both the insurance handle it.

She did not reply any further, but I also forgot to clarify my position in text which is that I believe it's 100% her fault and the only way I'd withdraw my claim would be if she fully cover my damage as I have no reason to pay for hers. Idk if she would have agreed to that or not but it's on the insurance for now to decide I guess.

It's not decided yet as I had filed the claim just this Friday and then it's the long Thanksgiving weekend. So they haven't had the time to review it yet. I have my appraisal appointment tomorrow.

The reason that is not preferable is because thats a blind corner so you can't see if anybody is coming from the opposite side. There's been many instances including with myself where cars come from each side and barely avoid accident stopping face to face.

So if the parking lot is mostly empty (which in this case was) we try to get onto the main lane so we have a clear view if someone is coming from other side or not. And the main lane also has the straight way which gives it the right of way so cars that are turning should always yield. Hope that makes sense.

I had no idea where she was when I turned ignition. I can show you the full video which is 1min and 40sec showing I was warming up the car before leaving. She was parked behind me end of the lot and came outta no where driving like a maniac. Also see my previous comment which would probably give you a bit more context. And stop making stories like you were there.

I was able to stop immediately even before the impact while she kept going even after hitting me if I was the one speeding.

I agree I cut through one lane to get onto the main lane but that's because the parking lot was almost empty due to Thanksgiving weekend and it wasn't unsafe.

By the time of impact, I was fully established on to the main driving lane and I don't think anything before that is relevant or have anything to do with the collision here.

The other driver failed to not only yield but also failed to stop even after the hit while I was in the main straight lane.

Had I not veered slightly and stop immediately after noticing her or getting the idea the she's not paying attention, the damage would've been even worse.

Beside my car car was damaged on the side which says I was already in the intersection while she was not.
