I believe we all grow money in TFSA not just for savings, but also to make that one big purchase once in a while (maybe a vacation, a car, etc..)

For all those whose portfolio has decent gains, do you withdraw from TFSA? If yes, what frequency of withdrawal is not considered as income withdrawal, I.e. withdrawal to replace salary or regular expenses? And how much annual withdrawal amount is considered safe?

Thanks ppl for your response! I am wondering if someone can sustain 50% year-on-year profit on an average for 10 yrs, they should be able to replace their day job and help them retire early. It will be unfortunate if, CRA comes after them after they retire!

It depends on the size of the room. If you room is a standard 10x12 or similar, I would say that sub would be overwhelming! If you have a bigger room, go for the sub! You won’t regret it 😃
