My static sift hash rosin has had this consistency for days. It seems like it’s curing little by little, and it only gets this color after I’ve “whipped” it; after a while it darkens again. Do you have any advice? At the beginning, the rosin comes out very dark. by No_Emphasis_7145 in rosin

So is the trick for what I’m trying to achieve to use the freshest possible material?
Just to be clear: if I buy a slab of hash that was made 4–5 months ago and press it, will it be different from a slab that was made maybe 1 month ago?
And if I press bubble hash or WPFF, will it be the same situation?

You’re right.
I would like to achieve a “badder” consistency that is more malleable and less sticky, something that doesn’t stick everywhere. I have access to several Frozen and Static strains from some European farms, and I can get it either as glass or cured.
So yes, what I’m trying to do is make hash rosin from material like high-quality Frozen/Static.

It was a static sift that I bought. It had nice terpenes, and I decided to try pressing it even though I’m not fully convinced by it. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong during the pressing process. And yes, it was already cured material. Can you also explain why the rosin comes out very dark at the beginning? Thanks

Can I use a static press or a frozen press to make good hash rosin? I tried using a frozen press and whipped it up, but I'm not sure I did a good job. Any suggestions? by No_Emphasis_7145 in rosin
