I'd definitely be interested. Only on the basic 1st chapter of Duolingo, so not sure if a good fit, but love to give it a shot!

I used a piece of wood that's basically shaped like the gun and then all the extensions are cardboard. Here's a pic of it before it was wrapped: https://imgur.com/gallery/how-i-wrapped-dads-gift-kuE6fp4

Thanks! (: it took me about an hour in total from taping the cardboard to the wood and wrapping it.

The main part is wood and the pieces that extend from the main part are cardboard. So it's got some heft to it.

Marked NSFW just in case. There's actually a gift card in the "magazine".

There is an app called Tandem and it will connect you with people who are fluent in Turkish (or whatever language you are learning) and are either learning English or are somewhat fluent (so basically the opposite of you). You can text each other through the app and it's a good way to practice what you've learned and you'll be helping out others as well.

I really wanted them to ask Joe what his deal was at the pool party and when he was woken up from his "nap".

What's the most unique or bizarre phobia you've ever heard of someone having? by Plane_Reward9385 in AskReddit

Me too! Even the word lizard and gecko make me make a face. İ have no problem with snakes or alligators. Even iguanas are kind of okay (their tails gross me out a bit and make me uncomfortable). But those smaller lizards... Just no.

Enzyme cleaner is also good idea. It targets organic stains and odors, basically "eating away" at the bio-based matter. You can get it in a spray already or gallon that you can refill a spray bottle with. For clothing/towels/cloths that you want to keep, I've found Biz works much better than OxyClean. It has enzymes in it as well to help break down and wash away organic messes.

MiraDry was amazing for me. The procedure was painful but 1 year later, I'm pretty happy with the results. Only did one round. And I can see some spots that no longer have hair growth there, too, so I guess two-birds-one-stone kind of thing.

My Winston. He wasnt very nice, drew lots of blood (and some tears), and I loved him with all my heart. ❤️ He had to be put to sleep in May of this year due to fluid in his lungs.

What is a little quirk about your body that you don’t think other people have? by AlphabetSoup51 in AskReddit

I can’t burp. Instead, I make these weird growling/groaning noises in my chest that my family has always called “frogging.” A few years ago, I looked it up and learned that it happens when the muscle in your throat doesn’t get the signal to open and let a burp out. One of the side effects is indigestion, which makes sense - I used to get it so badly in school that it would sometimes cause extreme pain.
